Hotel Santa Lucia - Santiago De Compostela

Just easy to find. Not much I like anout that hotel.

That hotel helped me to make deccision: no more 2 stars hotel! It was very bad issolation of sound, very small, cold room, old furniture and not too clean. I would not reccomend any family, specially with small kids to stay there. This hotel good for "pass by" truck drivers.On another hand, the kitchen was all right, not what you would expect from 2 star hotel.

Poor location in relation to interesting sites, poor public transport to city centre. Over priced for its location and standards.

A convenient centre for bus access to the city which meant thatone did not have the problems associated with city parking.

Bedrooms showing signs of age and reburbishment needed, particularly in bathrooms.As I stated in my questionaire left in the romm there is a major problem with neighbourhood dogs barking constantly. Our attempts to get served for breakfast on last day failed completely as bar staff more concerned with taking away empty cups than taking orders and so that left us hungry and with a bad feeling.

The staff is very friendly. It is a good hotel. International tv channels. Bus P3 from the Plaza Galicia in the centre of Santiago stops in front of the hotel.
