Antigua
The hotel is cute and quaint.. located in the heart of zona colonial was a plus
The AC was extremely noisy, we asked about laundry, they told us they charge 1.50 per item. We gave them 42 items, then got a bill for $113.00!!!! To find out later that they charge 3.50for shirts and pants, and 1.50 for socks and undies.. they were not honest with us. Breakfast at the hotel was about 35.00 for four people, simply juice and a small omlet. No elavators! We were on the 4th floor..
great location
Well located, friendly helpful staff, clean room. Food at restaurant was good, safe for tourists. AC was good and balcony was nice.
No elevator, took a tad long to check out.
The location was good and the hotel staff was friendly. It was also nice to be able to exchange money at a fair rate directly in the hotel.
Extremely noisy, impossible to sleep in fact. Dirty floors and walls. Broken appliances (lamps and shower head). Must pay in advance and there is an additional charge for the hotel safe key even though the hotel has a posted sign in the room saying that they are not responsible for items left in the room. No elevators and the lobby itself is two flights of stairs up. Not a good value for your money.
helpfullness of reception staff.
restaurant staff inattentive, slow.orders placed several toimes before delivered to table, some of which were incorrect.
Interesting older hotel, nice foyers on each floor, nice stairwells, some rooms have great views of the square, hotel has dinning area on ground floor which opens to outside covered tables
Hotels needs an update
it was in a good location
Location is excellent and staff very helpfull.
Not well soundproofed from adjacent rooms( awake until 5 am one night because of conversations in next room) Poor service in restaurant but food was good( eg had to ask for glasses for mineral water at supper instead of plastic cups)
Hotel has an excelent location in a historical plaza...close to shopping restaurants, historic sites. Rooms are adequate & priced well for location... sidewalk cafe below this 4 story hotel has very good food and is the most popular location among several of the same. Staff of hotel & wait staff the best...get a balcony room ...great for people watching down below in a crowded plaza.
It's location for some one who's vissiting the Island for the first time is excellent. Sitting in the balcony of our room and watching people goingby amazed me.
To my humble opinion none.
I was dissappointed in booking.com because when I arrived at the hotel they did not have my reservation. Luckily they had an open room and we could just pay for the hotel right there. We were tired and hot from the plane ride. We were very tired. If they did not have any rooms, this email would not be so nice. I dont think I will use booking.com again.
Well the best thing about the Hotel is the location. It is at a plaza in the historic downtown of Santo DGO. The building has some colonial flair.
The rooms are nothing special and rather small. What bothered me is that they asked 2 USD per day for the safe key and that internet is not for free (unless you have a WLAN). TV wasn't working in my room, but I didn't need it anyhow. The restaurant is ok and the waiters as well. Don't order a portion of french fries! You won't get enough and they're anyhow not tasty. Rather take a sandwich or pasta. A night is not worth 65 USD (single room) but if a central location is important
close/walking distance to shopping areas,nice staff,prompt service,arquitecture
no elevators
