Very good location in the heart of the old town, Bascarsija. Clean enough rooms and friendly, flexible staff. Easy to take a short walk in the heart of ancient ottoman side of Sarajevo. For backpackers or budget travelers who are not afraid of noise.
The downstairs internet coffee plays loud music until midnight. If you fall asleep easily in a bumping bass of balkan disco, this might not be a problem.
1. friendly and helpful staff 2.very good location
1. very bad smell in the toilet 2. narrow rooms 3. no towels 4. terrible noise coming from the near road and from the Bar placed below. 5. often no toilet paper 6. they do not care about you have a reservation.
The guy at reception spoke good english and was very helpful. I wouldn't say the same about all staff. Hostel location is excellent and prices are reasonable.
I reserved a room with private bathroom. I got a room with shared bathroom, because "someone made a mistake". I had to ask for a towel, there was not one in the room. I didn't manage to get hot water in the bathroom later in the evening. First there was no toilet paper, in the second day there was. very loud music was played all day and almost all night in the bar downstairs. I think there was noise of 60-70 desibel in the room almost all night. a couple of days after I left the hostel I got a complaint by e-mail claiming that I did't arrive at the hotel at all and I have to pay a cancellation fee.
Perfect location, but if you are looking for something tidy and comfortable, go somewhere else.
the hotel was in the city centre.
the rooms were not clean; poor comfort. it seemed more likely to be a highway motel. bad smell in the bathrooms. a lot of noise from the bar downstairs.
Bang in the centre of Sarajevo. Staff helpful.
Run down establishment. On top of the BIngo Bar which has a powerful sub bass woofer in its sound system.
The staff was friendly and very helpful.
It was loud at night until about 3am, as apparently there is a bar underneath it. The bathrooms did not have enough toilet paper... seems to be an unreasonable thing to skimp on, as it is so cheap now.
Pansion Sebilj was easy to find and was close to center. Staff was helpful. Place offers a nice and economic stay for backpackers
Toilets should be cleaned more often.
I loved the place. It was in the center, center center. I liked the staff, they were all very nice. I would go again there for sure :)
