The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, complementary barbecues if you decide to eat in,great kitchenette, and above all the staff were friendly and tentative and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. I wish my state could've been longer, I will definitely stay there the next time I'm in the area!!

Pros: Location can not be beat: proximity to food & drink, and the gorgeous beach is just a walk across the compound. Nice decorations for Christmas, too. Liked the kitchen. Desk staff was helpful.

Room was fully equiped, really nice linens, well stocked kitchen, nice size refrigerator. Cleaning staff cleaned room promptly and completely. Check in staff very friendly. Walking distance to grocery, drug store, and resturants. Booking through Kayak was a breeze and price was resonable. Would definatly stay there again.

Cons: There were hairs all over the shower floor. It was very late at night so we didn't have the energy to change rooms. Also, there were stains on the couch. We took pictures of the hair and stains and showed it to one of the managers the next morning and she gave us a 50% discount. That was very nice but even at half off it was too much to pay for a room that dirty.

Cons: Ability to self-park would be nice. Valets were severely understaffed, so there were hoards of people waiting to pick up their cars. Traffic was backed up waiting to drop off.

Pros: The rooms were modern, clean and cool. Views of the ocean, and kids loved the pool and ocean. So convenient to St Armand's Circle - we walked there and also used the hotel van which was great. We all enjoyed our stay and there was 10 of us!

Cons: The rooms are old. Mold in the shower and baseboards are falling apart. Our group had 4 rooms at the resort and all of them were the same (and yes, all had mold on the shower curtain). When paying $200+ per night, you should get a lot more.

Pros: If you don't want to see the beach (despite marketing that shows otherwise) and want to pay Ritz rates for Super 8 rooms, this is your place.
Cons: Room was ...what can I say? It was lime a cheap motel room. Not a resort. It was overloiking the parking lor and smelled bad. Wife was reallt disappointed, and had we not already paid, we would have walked out and gone somewhere else. I never leave reviews, but think that futire victims should be warned.

Pros: To my surprise we were upgraded to the newly renovated rooms in the south tower. We were given a two bedroom suite with kitchenet and double balcony with amazing views. Even though it rained and was overcasted most of the time we still had a fantastic stay, for the simple reason that the accommodations were so great.

Pros: Convenient location. Great view. They have one of the most friendly, outgoing, accommodating and polite staff I have ever come across. Very nice pool & hot tub facilities - separate areas for family and adults - a nice feature. Quality lounge chairs & towels at both the beach and pool. Only ate one breakfast at the resort but the food and service were both excellent. I would certainly return.
Cons: Set your GPS the first time coming here - when approaching from the north there is a palm tree partially blocking their sign so you could easily drive past the entrance before you realize where you are. After that, it's no problem. Also, use Washington St, etc. to bypass St. Armands Circle as you will avoid slow traffic around the circle. This will bring you right to their entrance.

Cons: Paid rate of nearly $350 for a Friday night, tried to check in at 6 room wasn't ready, had to go back and check in again at 7:30. Horrible room next to parking lot and noisy early morning housekeeping carts. Next morning housekeeping was knocking at 10 a.m. to vacate and clean the room. Buyer beware as they say. Won't be back.

Pros: This was our 3rd stay at Golden Host and, whereas the 1st 2 were not bad, this was the most comfortable stay yet. Our room was clean & comfortable with apparently new, plush bath towels and 2 bathroom sinks. A box of facial tissues was provided. The tub/shower is not new but clean & worked properly. Lighting in the room was, in our experience, above average. The front desk personnel are very pleasant and make you feel welcome.
Cons: There was no TV listing in the room .

Cons: So some associates had two other rooms besides me. 2/3 rooms the toilets hardly flushed then took 10+ to fill back up while making a sound. My iron didn't work and just leaked all over my shirt. The shower water was livable but clearly the hotel has a problem with water pressure. The renovations to the hotel are fine if you looking to save but they do look plan cheap. Their location must be horrible because nothing delivered to the hotel of then papa johns which ended up being $27/1 hour delivery for the worst papa johns pizza I have ever tasted. Check-out went smooth but their breakfast was pretty damn cheap. I about gaged on their grits and just ate cereal. Coming back down in a few months and will def pay the extra $40 somewhere else. Finally, I used kayak and they connected me to another site that was $10 cheaper. However, I did notice that this hotel seems to throw that price out anyways if you call and most likely get cheaper.

Pros: This was what we needed for the Sarasota Half Marathon- basic, but close to the start line. I accidentally got booked/charged for two rooms on my account. There was a bit of arguing with the front desk clerk about canceling the second room, but it was eventually done. The charge was still on my credit card when I got home, and I must commend Gary, the GM, on his service in helping me out! He was very quick to respond to my email about the situation, and made sure the charge was off my credit card within hours! Great service in turning an annoying situation into a good one.

Cons: Unfortunately, even the refurbished rooms still have old furniture, rusting microwaves, and other remnants of the old hotel. The place was pretty beaten up over the years and it shows. Days Inn has its work cut out to bring the place back to standard.

Old guy at the front desk refused to help us when we showed him our Kayak voucher. Too much for him to handle. But the other guy was awesome and got us in fast. Went to check out and immediately became subject to typical Florida trailer garbage trying to intimidate the front desk woman after she evicted him. Threats to call the police were made. The photos online are misleading. So were the three stars on Kayak.

Pros: The shower heads and water pressure were great. The pillows and bedding were clean. The manager appeared concerned regarding our complaints to the tune of a 50% rebate. He apologized and immediately picked up the phone and addressed our concerns with his staff. This hotel had a 3 star rating on Kayak and was affiliated with Ramada.
Cons: There were roaches in our room, used soap in the shower, old food in the fridge, we declined to eat any food from their kitchen based upon our room condition, phone line from room to front desk was constantly busy making it impossible to complain without walking across the dark parking lot in an unknown area to the front desk. Pros: This place is horrible u pay 200 for a short motel room. Then tiki bar wow service is a nightmare. Alcohol drinks sweet. Fish they claim is fresh stinked, fries burned. Server thought cause she wore right shorts a titta out that's all customer service they need not asking can I get u anything. How is ur food, nothing she ignored us. Never again I wouldn't advice anyone to stay at this hotel.

Cons: When we first came in the door was pried open, which was alarming. Then we saw the vacuum cleaner, garbage bag and dust and parts of potato chips. Making our way to the bathroom we saw no shower curtains and wall chips on the floor. I did not feel safe staying there.

Cons: Walked around and it seemed like everything was closed the tiki bar looked years old and abandoned. kids didn’t like the looks of the place and I regretted prepayment and we gathered our stuff and went elsewhere.

Cons: Hard to tell if the room was clean or not, due to all the stains and worn areas throughout. Parts of the popcorn ceiling in the bathroom were falling off. The bathroom door kept getting stuck & the doorknob seemed about to come off. The room door had an almost 1/4 in gap at the bottom, which let in outside air and noise, and could easily let in insects.

Cons: The rooms are not properly maintained. The first room that we got has soaked up carpet around the AC unit and the remote dies not work on the tv. The 2nd room that we moved to, the AC unit is loud when used in high. Other settings l(ow med and auto) is not enough to cool the room. The shower lever is hard to use unless you have a pair of pliers.

Cons: Moldy rooms, unsafe, noise all night long, intoxicated people, the flush ran all night. We felt unsafe and left with one day remaining day on our reservation. We would not recommend any Ramanda Inns to anyone!

Cons: The room smelled moldy. Lacking counter space in the bathroom. Sink and tub looked dirty...seems permanently worn and stained. Horrible. They even painted the chrome tub drain with white paint rather than replacing it. Really bad. Will not return unless they remodel. For the price we paid, it was a complete joke. The staff was great but cannot make up for the bad rooms. Note that this was the second room they put us in. The first had a leak and the floors were wet!

Pros: Location was awesome, the staff was great, the pools, shuffleboard, chess, free bikes, beach toys and towels, umbrellas and beach chairs were great. The staff handled a situation with our neighbors smoking and being loud at 1am very well.
Cons: Any sound travels directly through the walls as if they were cardboard, or you were camping in a tent outside.... be prepared for this is if you need to get sleep on your vacation!

Some of staff were nothing short of amazing while others (guest relations & restaurant) left a sour taste everytime you interacted with them. The pool was clean and very well maintained. The bar staff were entertaining and cheerful. The pool staff and housekeeping folks were courteous and friendly.
Cons: Good was expensive and staff were rude in the restaurant. Poor follow through and ignoring any issues by the from the front desk. Front desk Manager while pleasant not prepared to take any responsility. Had pre-booked for 2 weeks - had to put up with cockroaches in the room, telephone that did not work and an air conditioning system that you could not control in the room. There are a number of great options near by. Also levied with resort fees on the day of departure without any previous notice - others have mentioned this in the reviews. I cannot recommend this Resort as it desperately needs an update, a public health inspection and improvement in hotel basics.

This was are first time there and this place was very under comfortable with no ac in the room. they did not even tell us this when we checked in. We had to ear about it from other quest and they told us the office said they could do nothing about it. they did not even offer us to stay in there other hotel that was down the street.

Pros: Location was great, staff was great across the board. My room was 50 steps from the included beach chairs and umbrella set up by a attentive staff every morning. If your looking for a relaxing low stress beach vacation with the emphasis on your feet in the sand this is the place. I don't think the price can be beat. Ohh and the complimentary bikes that will get you to st Armand's in min was a huge bonus when it came to shopping and dinning! I don't think you can beat the value in this resort at a low price point!

Told the manager, but he did not seem like he really cared - just said he was sorry and thanks for letting him know. Pretty much ignored the issue. We were not really told about the extra resort fee of $25.00 a day when we checked in and found out when we were leaving - it was a surprise to us. They said a note about it was in our room key card holder when we first got into our room, but since we had already prepaid for the room through Getaroom through Kayak we assumed that was already included. It was certainly not very clear.

Beach was unusable in front of hotel from construction, no heat in rooms (30’s at night), fridge didn’t work, toilet ran all night, room was not kept up well, hotel 99% empty & yet we were given a parking deck view. Should have disclosed they were under contraction. No room service bc of Covid already a negative but all this was too much. So sad. Horrible Christmas stay.
