“Size of the room, private pool, friendly staff- evreryone from reception to the restaurant staff. Always welcoming everytime we went out. Greenery around the hotel, well kept hotel ground. And the view from the restaurant. Breakfast was good everyday - limited choice but tasted good.”

“Nothing, could not wait to leave. Was treated differently to other guests as we were Western. I felt discriminated against our service was slower than others, locals and muslim guests were greeted with drinks on arrival, we were not and we could see the difference in service by the staff towards us and others. Coffee would take ages to arrive in the mornings (usually after we had finished breakfast) and when we were leaving we missed out boat due to the taxi that we ordered turning up late. I booked the taxi the day before, and arrived at reception with our belongings 5/10 minutes before our taxi was due to arrive. I informed the guy on reception that we had booked a taxi with them for 10am and at 9:55am he said it will be 10 minutes. Then at 10:15 he asked what we were waiting for (even though he knew we was waiting for a taxi). When the taxi did arrive the driver was a pest, a nuisance who did not listen. I told him between 10 and 20 times we had a boat booked already and he still continued to say ‘i will take you to my friend he will give you good price’. He would not take no for an answer and even drove us to a different port. Awful experience avoid the Senggigi area and especially this hotel.”
