Nice Cheap hotel
The views of the bay are amazing and the rooms are pretty good for the price. The hotel is very clean and the regular bus shuttle to the town is great.
The distance to the town is quite far, although the shuttle is good, this really limits your plans. We went to a wedding that finished late and we were stranded. The owner/manager appears to hate every guest, leering at you when you enter and never welcoming. The rest of the staff are really good. She made us not want to eat at the restaurant or stay around the hotel. The pool was closed in October which wasn't great even though it was a bit cold. This wasn't mentioned on the booking.
Great view, great food, friendly and helpful staff
The fabulous view and the lovely relaxed atmosphere
A budget priced hotel with fantastic views over Bay of Naples. Staff are courteous and helpful. Giovanni mans the reception desk in the afternoon and evening, what a guy! He is the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have ever met, a credit to the Villa Fiorita. Whilst not being obtrusive at all, he is always there to help and his local knowledge is outstanding. The Villa Fiorita provides a good breakfast comprising of cold meats and cheese, croisants, yoghourts, etc, which we found good, whilst snacks can be purchased during the rest of the day. There is no restaurant but there is an arrangement with 2 nearby restaurants who will provide free transport, we ate at both, the food and service was excellent.
Not negative points at all, just ran out of room with the positives, but the hotel is actually located some 3.5 km further up Via Nastro Verde than my TomTom showed, not the hotels fault but if you cannot find the hotel just keep on driving up the hill and you will find it. The hotel is located up a winding road, some 7km from the centre of Sorrento, so would be a challenge if walking is your preferred way of getting about. We hired a car so not an issue, frequent local buses stop outside hotel. The hotel has a small bar and prices were very good. Rooms are clean but decor dated, perfectly adequate for our stay. Highly recommended. Driving was not a problem but traffic always heavy. Bathroom ceiling needed a lick of paint.
Clean and friendly. Great location with views over the bay and Sorrento. Rooms reasonable although tired decor and in corridors. Dont expect a good 3* room/facility and you will then not be disappointed as rate is fair.
Breakfast was uninspiring and could be improved.
We had a car and found the location very convenient as a base for visiting Sorrento, Pompei and the Amalfi Coast. A view room is a must and we had rooms with a small patio and a terrific view over the bay and Mount Vesuvius. The hotel has some daytime parking and provides free valet parking overnight. Three restaurants provide pickup and all were acceptable.
The rooms are good although somewhat outdated. They were clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are adequate but could use an upgrade. Showers are small but plenty of water.
they were very helpful and have deals with some great restuarants close by.
the bed was so hard i had a difficult time but my hubby said it was just fine.
Giovanni was an excellent host. He made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful. The rest of the staff was also friendly and helpful. The view of Sorrento and the Bay of Naples from our balcony was amazing.
The hotel was a little bit farther from the town of Sorrento than I would have preferred. It was a difficult drive up and down the mountain to the town each day. However, it was conveniently on the road to Positano and the rest of the Amalfi Coast.
The breakfast buffet was the best we encountered during our two weeks in Italy. The view from our room was wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a bit far from town, although I rather enjoyed the remoteness. Once I found it's location, the distance from town was not so bothersome. Bus service was good.
breakfast, view from the swimming pool
staff not too friendly, room in the back are noisy
nice views
20 min from the centre of sorrento
The hotel staff is exceptionally helpful and courteous. The food at the hotel restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced, but since the dining room is small, reservations are required. The hotel has an amazing view and is easily accessible with public bus.
When you stay at Hotel Villa Fiorita in Sorrento, you'll be in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of Marina Grande Beach and Corso Italia. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Free valet parking is available onsite.
