Hotel Gamla Stan, BW Signature Collection is a unique and charming boutique hotel in the heart of Stockholm’s Old Town that offers elegant and luxurious accommodation. The hotel is housed in three different buildings dating from the 17th century and maintains original details from the past. Some rooms offer a spectacular view of the water while others look onto the narrow cobblestone alleys and historical buildings. The painted ceilings, original beams and Stockholms oldest wrought iron staircase have been preserved. The hotel is a waterfront property, situated on Skeppsbron, overlooking Lake Mälaren. The Royal Palace is only 250 meters from the hotel and is one of Stockholm's most visited attractions. Hotel is within walking distance to most tourist attractions. Tour buses and boats are just nearby. Stockholm Central Station, Stureplan Square and the vibrant Södermalm district are all within 15 minutes’ walk. Pros:Location was good, if u don't mind touristy Gamla Stan.
Cons:The room was quite dirty, blood on the wall and curtain. Front desk did not give correct info about where to buy Stockholme card.
