Pros:I especially loved the family feel and the friendly staff. There were lots of staff around and everyone was kind, helpful and very friendly. I felt so comfortable and safe. Also, everything was incredibly clean, towels, sheets, bathroom - everything!
Cons:The motel part was a bit old and lacked shades and towel racks. But still all was comfortable and clean.

Pros:Granted, it was the only room left in town, the inn is picture perfect from the outside and a great location in town. The staff was a little scary with too many piercings. Had to wait for the room. The bath room was clean but the bed covers were really old and stained. Hard wood floors but no rug. Noisy wall heater We ended up walking around town and visiting all the great restaurants. We finally went back and were out by 7am. We were glad to have a bed but....didn't really feel comfortable

Pros:It is a locally owned hotel and old. But the people are wonderful and food is amazingood. They have a beautiful sitting area in the main house. If I were to go to stowe again I would happily stay there again.
Cons:The tight covers by the bed, they were stringy and old. Because the rooms are old there is still I slight smell of smoke from all the years ago it was aloud, but it's not bad.

Pros:Great location
Cons:Staff wasn't very friendly or accommodating. Rooms are out dated. When checking in we were told $4 for breakfast. The next morning it was $5, and they were out of everything besides watermelon and coffee. We were there at 7:30 am!

Cons:Rooms are outdated with old furniture and bathroom fixtures. Continental breakfast was very basic, though an excellent fruit bowl.

Pros:Conveniently located to the village and to the mountaintop and the price was right since it was off-season.
Cons:The room in the adjacent building was a dump. I had booked looking at the photos of the rooms, which all looked nice and was looking forward to spending time there. However, when I arrived, my heart sank because the room didn't look anything like the pics and felt dirty. Once I saw the bathroom with the mold growing along all the caulking and the grout of the tile and the splatters and scratches on the bathroom door and urine at the bottom of the toilet, I decided not to look too closely anymore and not to take off my shoes. Perhaps the rooms in the inn itself are nicer but I had to book a pet room. My dog is only 10# though and non-shedding so he doesn't leave a trace. Nonetheless, I paid a $30 pet fee for a filthy room.
