We had an absolutely fabulous stay. We went with a young family with 3 children and found the hotel and staff child friendly without affecting the adult comfort and enjoyment. My daughter and her husband were able to have a wonderful romantic dinner. There was something for everyone. We have travelled all over the world and this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in.
The water in the pool was a little too hot on two of the days.

The location is great . The hot pools are the best feature .They are always clean and a pleasure to use

We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel's geothermally heated swimming pool after the drive from Wellington. Given the new Taupo by-pass the hotel's location is even more accessible than previously. The hotel's services and facilities (always reliable) were even better this year than in previous years.
I have nothing to offer as criticism.

enjoyed being in the country, close to the mountain bike riding. Having everything we required on site:- The restaurants, pools, gym.
The only thing was our room was on the colder side of the complex, and we looked out on the maintenance complex.
