It was clean.
I have never seen smaller room. Private bathroom means shared bathroom in this hotel - the description is not accurate. I asked about waking me up at 7 am. The hotel staff said ok - but nobody did it. No wonder if they appeared only at 7.15...

There's no internet in the room, only in the hotel lobby.

The location of the hotel is very central in the older downtown part of The Hague and thus very convenient for getting about. The refurbished interior of the lobby is good, it will be nice when they finish the rooms as well which they apparently are undertaking.
This is a typical thing in Dutch buildings but man, the stairs are really steep! And if you are carrying a bag, well I would not recommend this for the infirm or elderly.
