Absurdly elegant and chic boutique hotel at a great price. I'm checking the prices now because I want to go back, and, wow, did I get a deal. Wish I could afford to return.
Literally nothing. Like, maybe a Nespresso machine in the room? It was phenomenal. Even the LPs in my room were perfect for me. It's like they knew. THEY KNEW.
Nice and Quaint
Overall it was nice! The room was nice, upscale and a bit swanky, but efficient. Staff was lovely and friendly.
They just opened so the bar nor restaurant were open, which was unfortunate. There was a bit of construction going on too. The room was not that insulated for sound and could hear hallway and outside noise.
The Anndore House is tucked into the heart of Toronto, Canada and lets visitors enjoy a location just steps from some of the trendiest neighborhoods. Just a few steps from Yonge Street and a few minutes more to the Yorkville district, the dining and nightlife of Church Street is also nearby. Less than three miles from the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and steps from several major subway stations, it is also close to the University of Toronto, the Royal Ontario Museum, Panasonic Theater, the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts and the Toronto Symphony Tower, The CN Tower and Harborfront Centre are both within two miles, as well.
Clearly, this makes it a good choice for leisure and business travelers alike, and the historic property lives up to its reputation as creative and innovative with such amenities as a signature app that allows guests to customize their stay, valet parking (for a fee), an on-site barber shop, a fitness center, laundry and dry cleaning, and a popular restaurant and lounge (the Constantine Restaurant and Lounge) on the premises. There is also 24-hour front desk service, free Wi-Fi, meeting rooms and pet-friendly policies.
Rooms are a good match to the rest of the experience and include an array of options such as a loft king room, corner studio, double queen rooms, and more. All are uniquely designed and decorated with top of the line furniture and décor. They are all equipped with an iPod compatible vinyl record player, flat screen plasma TV, C.O. Bigelow toiletries, luxurious linens, large beds, rainforest showers, and most have great views.
With an unbeatable location and an amazing array of amenities, The Anndore House is a great choice when visiting Toronto.
