Room warm and very clean.Margaret and John were very obliging and very friendly and we had a very warm welcome.They put them selves out to make sure our stay was very comfortable.The whole hotel was very tastefully decorated and very clean.
The only bad point in my view was, there was no facilities for smokers and there should of been a designated area where it was warm for the smokers.Unfortunately this is a common point and there are a lot of smokers out there that would of appreciated this tiny bit of thought.I Realise that smokers are alienated but once locked in room it was many locked doors to get out and in to have a smoke especially in the night.I Realise that smokers are not liked but a little bit of thought for them goes a long way and is appreciated.

The owners were very pleasant - welcoming yet discreet. Although I had booked a single room for three nights, I found on my arrival that I been put into a twin room at no extra charge so that I would have a little more space. I thought this was a very hospitable gesture, and showed that the extremely positive comments about the hotel that I saw on Trip Advisor, etc, were justified.
