Very affordable with good shower, bad and breakfast. Location was not in the city centre but was $4 of taxi to town.
Location outside town and not even bottle of water for sale
On arrival we have been told that we don't get a double Room with one big bed, because we didn't add this note in the "remarks" of the reservation form.
very close to the airport and very warm rooms.
there were 3 staff members rotating during my stay. one of them looked like didnt really want to be there and had an attitude. if there is one think that i dont accept is bad customer service..
The hotel is comfortable and good decoration, has free internet in the lobby. The room is new and has good bathroom. But it´s expensive if you compare with other better options, nearest downtown. Great montains view! Staff have to change!
Hotel doesn´t have staff to support guests. All of them talk to you as doing a favor. For example: I order a glass to drink water in my room and the guy said: "I have no glasses here". And more: have no mineral water to drink in the hotel, neither in the breakfast (that is simple and poor)! You have to pay all nights in the check in and the receptionist is not friendly, he just says: "Pay now!" The hotel location is far from downtown, around 20 argentinian pesos by cab. There is no buses. So, there are better options in Ushuaia. Staff have to change!
The employees are very helpful, the rooms are spacious and very clean (daily). Breakfest is regular. It is quite near to the airport, but a little away from the city center (3km) needs to get a taxi every time.
the breakfast is not bad but could be better
It is only a short distance from the airport. It is a pleasant Alpine like hotel and I liked the 2 mile walk into the town and being away from the centre. However, you need to go to town for meals other than breakfast. The people are very nice.
It is conveniently located on the main road and very close to the airport. It is about 1.5 km from the city center (about a 30 to 45 minute walk or a 12 peso taxi ride). HVR is professionally run, and provides a decent breakfast and adequate accomodations.
Somewhat noisy. It is easy to hear activity in the next rooms and hallway activity. If you are a light sleeper, don't expect to sleep in late.
The breakfast was very simple and badly refilled. To toast the bread, you had to claim the toaster. The room was was small but clean, the bathroom was good! At nights it was very could due to a small heater and a thin blanket on the beds.
Enjoyed the location and the views, Staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean.
friendly, helpful staff.
