Decor a little dated and teutonic. Lacking atmosphere for a long term stay, but excellent business and city trip choice

I enjoyed the friendly and understanding staff, who, despite my lack of knowledge of the Italian language, were able to help me in English. Breakfast was great too.

Had a very pleasant stay; very close to city center, piazza bra and arena
Only thing we didn't like was not being able to have air conditioning; my wife and I both have a medical condition where our body temperature sometimes fluctuates. room was very, very hot when we first entered it. what helped to counter not having air conditioning when we needed it was being able to open the big window in the room. had a room towards the back of hotel, and noise level wasn't bad.

Good service by helpful and accommodating staff and this compensates for simple room and the fact that internet has to be paid for (in my case it didn't work even I wanted to pay). Good breakfast.
