Pros: The hotel was brand new, clean, great downtown location and the staff were great. The price was very reasonable. It's a brand new hotel and it looked like we were the first people who had used our room. Lots of weird quirks though. The bathroom showerhead was fancy, but way too close to the edge of the tub. Not nearly enough water pressure. Very few power outlets. The parking lot was behind the hotel. We weren't told that the fast access to it was not finished yet. So, you have to walk around outside. Room prices were quite low. I guess it's because the hotel is still under construction. The staff didn't tell us that it wasn't finished yet. We had no idea the construction was happening. So, that's probably the reason the room price was still quite low.

Cons: Room decore is somwhere between questionable and horrid. Bathroom was ugly 1970’s. Windows don’t open and heating is temperamental. Rooms are tiny.

Pros: The historic feel and grandeur of this hotel really places you back in time. The bar and breakfast buffet were out of this world. The staff really places each and every guest on a pedestal and makes you feel like you’re the only one they’re waiting on. The location can’t be beat either!

Pros: This hotel was located right in the heart of downtown just steps from food, gaming, shopping and bars. Rooms were spacious and heated floor in the bathroom was over the top. Skyway connected as well.

Cons: It was difficult to find a parking spot which also cost an extra $20 on top of the hotel stay. Couldn't find the toilet paper under/behind the counter until I called the front desk.

Pros: Very cheap. The ratings had three stars so I fell for it.
Cons: Pretty much everything. Lowest price on the list I generated, but It is really a terrible place and I'm not high maintenance.. The room smelled of years of cigarette smoke, the internet and tv didnt work, the cold water tap in the bathroom sink didn't work. Cigarette burns all over the carpet. If my wife or kids had been with me, we would have been out of there the second after we checked in.

Pros: There's no better value for the location. Free actual breakfast each day was great, and the dining room had a very historic classy feel. The pool/hot tub area looked very clean, but we didn't get a chance to take it in. If you're planning on gettting out to enjoy the city or the downtown core, this is the place.
Cons: There's a bit of a rough crowd at certain times around downtown WPG but the same can be said for most major cities. The rooms could use a facelift, but they were always fresh and clean so it's hard to complain too much.
