I thought most things in this hotel were great. it was just on the outskirt of the centre of aix-en-provence but in order to get there you get to meander through sweet streets filled with lovely french eats and pottery. very pleasant! I'd say location is the best thing about the hotel but the facilities were nice as well. nice decor and comfy bed. very sparse french decorating. not too noisy at all though we were facing a main street
well they put us in a room with no hot water or water pressure for the shower. they then acted surprised that it wasn't working but half an hour later proceeded to tell us that a plumber had been in earlier that week and said they needed to repair it but they hadn't. for that massive inconvenience of not being able to shower they knocked off 8 euros. the staff were very nice however
no hairdryers. the shower water was almost nil.
Almost everything. It is in the city center, the staff is really nice and the room quite big and quiet.
No particular points to complain about.
Very close to the city centre
Proximity to city center and pubic parking. Great value for money.
not at all
this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed, the stuff at the reception desk when I check in was very rude, and theres not toilet in the room, the room smell so bad so bad!!!!
Nice location, right next to the old city.
All rooms appear to be smokers' room. the first room we got stunk of smoke. so we got another, which stunk slightly less. the ac didnt work, the remote was nowhere to be found. if you opened the window, you were unable to sleep because a bus stop and traffic light on a vey busy 4- lane street is right outside. the bathroom was rather clean, which was good. nevertheless, it looked like the bathroom in a 1950ies barracks of the French foreign legion. the whole furniture looked like it came right off a junkyard. it was less the standart than many 1-star hotels I have stayed in.
The staff were very friendly and all requests were met on time. The hotel offers good access to the town centre and is located in an area with plenty of local amenities. Overall, it is good value for money.
The carpet was a bit smelly which was obvious every time one entered the room.
the lady at frontdesk was very nice.
Very centrally located - lovely staff
The first night we only had a fan and as it was 42 outside it was just too hot in the room. The following night we were moved to a room with airconditioning which made all the difference. The bedrooms are a bit dull
