Traditional family run guest house in excellent location close to centre of Ambleside. All of the staff were friendly and helpful during our 3 night stay. Good selection on breakfast menu with sensible portions, all well prepared. Good sized bedroom advertised as twin but actually a single and double bed, decorated in traditional style. Modern, well- equiped shower ensuite.
