...that they started the heating in the second day, breakfast is fine
On the first day no heating, the beds were uncomfortable, small space in the rooms, no soap,
just the location outside
not clean not enough space in room, dirty and broken bath noisy ...
accessible near tram station
carpets are dirty; no staff available in hotel
The reception is in another hotel "Max" (200 m away) that was mentioned in the hotel description or booking confirmation.
The same problems as in most hotels in Amsterdam: if you want an acceptable price, that comes with shared bathroom and very small rooms.
Small quiet Hotel on the outskirts of city centre friendly staff and great views of the river amstel
The hotel was clean I was happily surprized.it was out of the busy nasty section but not too far from fun!
Steep Stairs-- but then they are all like that, just know before hand and don't bring all your bags if possible!!
It's close to the centre and tram lines. The room was very nice and big. The bed was very comfortable.
The steps are very steep. Our room was next to the toilet and shower so we always heard the other people going there.
Quiet but failry central location
This hotel is actually an annexe of the Hotel Max round the corner. It is unstaffed and distinctly tatty - check in was at the other hotel but this is not indicated on the doors, just in the small print. No breakfast was available.
The original 4-person room was very spacious and clean.
The triple we stayed in during our last night was disgusting, as was the shared bathroom. Furthermore, the 4-person room was not cleaned until 2 and a half hours after check-in time. And the staff was often not very helpful.
