Pros:I booked this place on the fly for a last minute business trip. The room was ~$92 and since I was only staying there for 11 hours, the price was right. The bed was comfortable. The locks on the doors worked.
Cons:When I arrived at 9:30 pm, people were just sorta hanging out in the dimly lit parking lot. The car next to mine had interior lights on with no one inside. There was ~$60 in cash scattered around on the ground by the driver's door. I went inside and told the font desk attendant before she gave me my hotel key and she said she'd look into it. When I arrived at my room, I opened the door and found a pantless man laying in one of the beds. I apologized, walked downstairs and informed the front desk lady after she returned from the parking lot. crime scene. She apologized and asked if the pantless man was, "...at least good looking". I actually thought that was really funny- And this night was just getting stranger! She gave me another key and promised the room would be empty. On the elevator ride up, I got to hang out with two mildly drunk/drugged out early 20-somethings before arriving at my room. The bed was comfy but the heat didn't work. In an Alaskan hotel in October..the heat didn't work. Sigh...so I bundled up, enjoyed the comfy bed while the majority of my fellow hotel guests partied the night away. This is a weird place and if you're not up for that, stay far far away.
