The location was great for me. Lots of recent remodeling in the lobby area and the bathroom of both my rooms. The buildings have keyed entry. Staff was very nice and helpful.
My first room smelled like a dog had urinated in it and not cleaned up. Also the shower did not work. The water worked just not the shower. My second room had it's own aroma, can't really describe it. No trash can in room. The trash can outside right by the entrance to my building was overflowing and had several bags stacked around it. My stay was 2 nights, the garbage pile was there when I arrived, Friday, and still there when I left on Sunday. The only difference, it appeared to be growing and taking on a life of its own. Hmmmm, maybe this pile of garbage was the source of second room odor. It was about 8 feet from the air conditioner unit. The keyed entry was great except the one next to my room. It was broken /missing. Double locking room door recommended.
Strong sense of neglect
I liked having a room to sleep in. Receptionist my second day was much better than the first day.
- Very slow check in service where the first set of keys didn't even work in my assigned room and I had to request a room change where the locks didn't even work well at all. - About the locks... it was hard to tell if I was issued the wrong key or if the locks just weren't working because even the real key only worked 1/10 times. -I stayed there two nights and luckily I tried my key before I left because it wasn't working the second day and when I tried to get that fixed at the reception desk someone had called and asked to be switched into my room.... very unsettling. Needless to say I would not leave any valuables in these rooms. -WiFi wasn't that good... -Anyway, I was thoroughly uncomfortable throughout my stay due to the bad ambiance.
Booked my stay and was told they overbooked and cost me driving time back and forth. Ended up sleeping in my rental car and ticketed for loitering by local Austin PD
The shower was ok. The staffs were nice and friendly.
The room stinks and the smell is not something everybody can handle. We have to put something under our nose in order to sleep at night it was that bad. The location is ok, not very close to downtown but it's close to the highway as it was expected.
Great customer service...very helpful staff.
Room we stayed was towards back, so if by myself - would have been worried. Alot of under remodel, so the back looks semi abandoned.
