very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere
Breakfast on Sunday morning could have done with more staff to cope with the last minute rush.
High standard of room
Poor selection of toiletries
This is the second time that I have sayed at this hotel. Once again it was an enjoyable experience. We were given an upgrade and the room in the main house was superb. I overheard someone in the restaurant telling the staff that they stay in a hotel at least once a month on business and that this was one of the very best that they had stayed at. This confirmed my findings. It beats the likes of Cameron House for the comfort of the rooms. Food and drink prices are very reasonable. Staff are well trained and very courteous and helpful.
I had no complaints about anything. The hotel would benefit from leisure facilities but I knew it didn't have these so I wasn't looking for this.
the service from the staff was excellent,a lasting memory
having to prove that I had paid for the breakfast
The room which we stayed in was one of the best ever and we were impressed with the attentiveness of all the staff. Nothing was a bother to anyone. In addition the food was excellent.
We liked value for money an d the extra wee touches like bed turned down with shortbread and hot chocolate when we returned to the hotel .
Friendly staff. Good food.
Stayed in Courtyard part and very unsatisfactory walking in a wet windy night to the main house for dinner. Had to change room because of something noisy and broken on roof. Had no sleep on one night!
the room was very clean and well equipped
thought breakfast would be included in price
Food in Jockey Club Restaurant was excellent and the staff were very good.
Room service breakfast - yuk!
the staff where very friendly and helpful, hotel was very clean
the bed in room 302 seemed to have a bump in the middle that seemed to keep me awake most of the night
