Flight delayed over two hours, very little communication from staff then had to wait 2.25 hrs to clear passport control. Had arrangements for evening ruined as a result.

For the crew, I am sure it was also a time savings approach. When going to find another drink, it was clear supplies were also thinning out."

Pros: "I had a good experience purchasing my El Al ticket through Kayak. I was able to select my seat--exit row seats at no extra cost! (although the ticket was admittedly expensive). El Al itself was fine. Service was fine. Food was fine for airplane food. (The bread was actually good, much better than the food on America airlines in general). El Al is known for their tight security and we certainly experienced that. However, I found myself NOT annoyed by it. Because I and my traveling partner were not Jewish or Israeli, we were singled out and interrogated with extra questions. This doesn't sound good but it meant we didn't have to wait in the regular line and kind of got the VIP treatment. We were treated very nicely. Someone went out of their way to get us a seat while we waited for them to inspect the dust particle samples on our wallet and shoes. TSA makes my blood boil but the security through El Al was somehow a pleasant experience. Overall, I was satisfied."

It took 2 hours alone to get through security and it was a light crowd. I can only imagine if it was packed or during major EU or Israeli holiday. They try to move people fast but security folks are all very young so they require a lot of supervision and need oversight so they stop and go for questions with trained team members."

Cons: "Security check lasted very long in Madrid in the ElAl counter. Because it took so long around 40 suitcases did not make it to the plane, along with mine. During the flight I was informed I am not going to receive my luggage at landing and that it will be sent later. No personal entertainment system in the plane. WiFi was not stable and kept shutting down. I was not offered any compensation for the delay in the arrival of the suitcase. I as a customer avoid flying with ElAl, I bought a ticket to Iberia and had to fly with ElAl because the flights were shared. In the future I will avoid flying with companies that might share with ElAl, because they give very poor service and they mistreat women."

We were on the ground for over 3 hours without communication from the crew. When asked questions they gave no answers. Even after we left they couldn't tell us what took so long. EasyJet flight was cancelled from Paris to Nice incurring and additional 417 euro flight with Air France and 250 euro TAXI from Toulon to nice. Absolute absurdity as there were no other flights to Nice for 2 days. Easy jet then OVERBOOKED me from Nice to Paris. I had to fly Air France AGAIN, an additional 380 euro and I missed my connecting flight from Paris to jfk costing me an additional $800USD. How is this even allowed? WORST company to have ever existed, they must go out of business, contacting BBB and getting the word out on this disgusting company."

The cabin crew on that flight were super fantastic and super helpful. They were so polite and considerate that i felt i travelled with a 5star airline.

To be honest I did not like anything. Communication to why my flight was cancelled mid air 2 and half hours into my flight. Customer service desk were not helpful with providing information or a solution on what can be done.
I have been treated unacceptably by WizzAir aircraft crew in a previous flight, they threatened me and abused me, and I received an OFFICIAL written apology, but only two (2) months later. This flight had no such unacceptable behaviour, but it's not nice to be left waiting in the walkway (from gate to aircraft) for a long time, just so that the 'boarding' appears to be early, even if actual departure is not.
