Reasonable rates, comfortable beds, good location and friendly staff made our stayearly enjoyable. Must keep in mind this is a budget hotel and rooms are dated but staff and management do a good job maintaining and keeping things clean. I would stay again.
We love to stay there,is the third time we use it,had people from Norway there two times to. We will be back sometime.
there was a tiredness about the room which one felt could do with a really good spring clean. Also the sheets on one bed were unironed and looked as though they had not even been changed.
The Homestead has a partnership with the Banff Park Lodge across the street where you can use the pool facilities at the Banff Park Lodge, which is why I chose this hotel and what makes it such good value. The staff were very nice and the location is great for walking around Banff.
large spacious room
room too hot hard to cool down outside noise annoying when window open
Very comfortable stay, Close to town. Beds comfortable and room clean and spacious. Good decent hotel, nothing overly fancy.
The location to down town.
It could have had a couple of places that where cleaned better.[so thig on the walls]
we could walk everywhere, there were not many guests there it was quiet!
The TV did not have channel 3 for the Olympic games!!!
We got upgraded to the Bow View Lodge so the above comments apply to that hotel. It did seem a bit inconvient to go outside to use the pool and hot tub. Loved the thoughtfulness that went into the set up of the room...storgae for ski boots, trunk, fridge etc. Thanks
see above re: hot tub and pool access requires trip across the parking lot and outside.
