Pros (+) I'd stayed at Casa Camper before, but it had been awhile. This time, I was driving. I called and asked for a parking recommendation, and was told of an excellent parking garage just around the corner. When I arrived, my GPS was having trouble finding directions to the hotel from the lot. I called the hotel, explaining the street where I was, and asking how to get to the hotel. Pros (+) Really nice hotel, centrally placed. Staff were excellent - polite and well informed, and the complimentary champagne for our birthday celebration was a nice surprise. As per previous comments, taxi from airport had some difficultly mainly because the police had closed Ramblas on the weekend evening.
Cons (-) At this price bracket I would expect better restaurant and room service facilities, although there is no shortage of good eateries with walking distance. We had a split room, with bedroom on one side of a corridor and sitting room on the other side of the corridor - this didn't really work for us hence although the overall space was good, we spent most of our time in a just ok-sized bedroom.
