Pros:The location was great - centrally located. The staff was helpful and pleasant and spoke English. This is a great place to stay to have a private room but the atmosphere is somewhat hostel-like. It was the perfect place for us to stay as two twenty-something women. We felt safe, and the hotel had everything we needed, including breakfast and air-conditioning.
Cons:I didn't love that we had to leave our key at the front desk - only because there seemed to be no system of id-checking when you asked for the key upon return. Also, there was a tourist tax that we were not made aware of when making our reservation. We were not even made aware of it when we checked in. The first time something was said was our last night when we were getting our key. The tax was minimal (0.75 euros/person/night), but you had to pay in cash and we had been trying to use up our Euros since it was our last night there. I would have been very angry had I needed to withdraw money from the atm for this.
