Value for money
Distance to city center
A small boutique residence with fantastic period features perfectly set for someone visiting Bath. Very high attention to detail from embossed towels to lighting arrangements. The proprietor is helpful and attentive without being in your face. He went out of his way to ensure you had a good stay and provided a fantastic breakfast. Good value for money. If you are looking for a large corporate hotel with gymn, sauna, late night bar etc, this is not the place for you. If you like to try somewhere with personality and character this place is ideal.
I really can't think of anything.
First class break, beautiful accommodation, very friendly host, great position for visit to Bath
Lovely, tucked away position. Friendly staff and a short walk into the Centre of Bath.
Fantastic location and amazing establishment - close to centre of bath - fantastic rooms and very comfortable bed - the whole experience oozed of history
Th location was just right, not too far from Bath centre, far enough to be quiet. It was like staying for a weekend with an old friend. Room was luxurious, and it was warm and inviting.
The furnishings and the garden were of a high standard and extremely interesting. The bedroom was sumptuously furnished but rather small. The host was very friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful dining room.
Personnel attention from staff, location,parking,
A welcome cup of tea on arrival. Enjoyable breakfast cooked to order including fresh fruit
Guests need to be for warned that a charge will be made if you pay by credit card. I was asked to pay with cash or chq. quite a surprise as i had booked online. Who uses chqs these days or carry lots of cash around.
The unique design of the historic building, the rooms, the choice of furnishings and decoration, the garden, the hotel staff were good humoured, attentive and made a cracking full english breakfast.
