Fx Hotel Yansha Beijing

The hotel was within walking distance of a new shopping center, the Agricultural Expo Center, and line 10 of the subway. But while it's close to places it still has a Chinese cultural value. A cab ride to most places will cost 10RMB ($1.50US). Breakfast at 25RMB is typical for most of the local / regional hotels, but they worked hard trying to make it good. The free internet was great with wied in the rooms and wifi everywhere else - so it was easy to get my computer work done. Laundry was easy and they did a good job. It was a good stay, very good for the money, and easy to get to/from the hotel to other places.

A previous review said that the air conditioning wasn't working. In fact, it was but at most times it was not enough to keep the room cool (it's like they turned off the a/c cold from midnight to 6am, and again from 9am to 5pm) In the summer Beijing can get very hot and humid - if you need a/c do not stay here. Other associates in my group had the same issues so it was not just my room.

Price is just ok. Design is fine. To take a show looks like a fighting with the water. The temperature changes every min, either very hot or very cold. For me, I said the F word every min when taking shower. The last night I lived here, there was someone offering prostitution in the hotel. Where the hell is the security?
