When we got to the Hotel, there was no normal room so that they gave us a suite which was fun to stay.
Water was so bad. I didn't even want to have a shower during my stay.
Location of the hotel,
The rooms and especially the bathrooms weren't clean!
This hotel was poor value for money. It seemed more like a poor, dirty hostel than a hotel. The room had dirty tissues on the floor and the bathroom was dirty beyond cleaning.
The location of the hotel was the only good thing in Marble Tower
It was written that breakfast is open from 7:00 am but actually it was not read untill 8:00 am and there are no choices. Staff are not polite enough when dealing with customer. I asked the reception for electric plug adapter and he answered that they do not have and I have to buy one for my self from the store. Will never go back to this hotel in the future.
They had an exceptionally helpful and honest bell-hop who cared about thr comfort of our stay.
We were given a newly renovated room...but they clearly hadn't worked out the bugs. I got locked in the bathroom for 30 minutes, the sink didn't drain and the bathroom was dirty. On top of which the water from the tap was either salt water or brackish water. They seemed unfamiliar with how to process our reservation through Booking.com and we had to negotiate the cost of the hotel room.
Great price for what you get (unlimited free internet, includes a large breakfast, rooms were clean, Ali and 9isaam were very friendly, the location is great. You are close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping.
Location, location, location. Hamra is a buzzing suburb of Beirut and Marble Tower Htl was perfect when walking between Corniche and Downtown day or night. Loads of restaurants of all qualities nearby, shopping, convenience stores and internet cafes. Couldn't be better.
The reception and restaurant needed attention (looked shabby) however the latter closed during my stay (shame they didn't tell guests before going to breakfast next morning) and will be refurbed into high standard restaurant and operated from outside the hotel (though patrons have own door from hotel). Front rooms noisy at night/early morning.
The Location is very good, and the reception guys are really friendly and helpfull, especially Mr. Ali who was very helpfull and provided wonderfull guidance about the city, places and transportation.
the breakfast was poor and exactly the same during all five days. the old room (not the re novated ones) are very old, old fashioned furniture, and their bathroom was not clean. hoever all this had disappeared when they moved me to a new (re novated) room.
cleanliness of toilets, old design, bad smell and very expensive rate for a hotel like that
yes . the shower not good the bed not realy comf. air con was very slow
