Cons: Coffee and tea that we used were not replaced each day. For a 4 star hotel I would expect these to be provided in the room.

Pros: The room was spacious and modern with huge windows for sunny days and blackout drapes for sleeping late. The restaurant has very good food and the staff are friendly. The location is perfect for walking around or taking the U-Bahn.

Pros: This hotel is in a great neighborhood, that is not overrun by tourists, and has plenty to do nearby. It is also a close walk to server S-Bahn, and U-bahn stations. The room was small, but well designed, with everything just barely tucked into place. It was cozy, but not cramped. Also, there was AC, which is helpful during the heat wave that Berlin has had this summer. The staff spoke excellent English, and were helpful and patient with my flagging German.
Cons: The breakfast is overpriced for what it is. You can get similar food for a third of the price at one of the neighborhood bakeries.

Various forms of public transport are available in less than 5 minutes walking distance. From here, any area of Berlin can be easily discovered.

Pros: I travel quite a bit, and have stayed in dozens of hotels primarily because of my job. Would I stay in this hotel again? Maybe, but next time around It would not be my first choice, second choice, or third choice; only if nothing else is available in the area, and there are many choices to choose from in this hotels general area.
Cons: About the staff: I would say that half of the staff was extraordinarily friendly while the other half lacked couth; a bit on the rude side, and a bit impatient with issues dealing with guests. Those that were friendly were really great, and pleasant to come in contact with. About the internet; can't understand why only one person at a time can use the internet in room after it has been purchased. This is the first time I have had this issue. I was trying to book flights and we needed to use two laptops, but because of this odd rule we could not:VERY INCONVENIENT. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and did a wonderful job.

Pros: This hotel is an old-style one, means its rooms are spacious like the good old days. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is much more than decent, the rooms are very good, the breakfast is also an old-style - not sophisticated, just very good! If you are sick and tired from boutique hotels offering odd non-comfortable too-designed rooms and too sophisticated breakfast, this hotel is for you - less experience, much more comfort and value. The room is very clean. The location is very good as well - 5 minutes from KDW and very close to the gay area if it's important.
Cons: Actually nothing. They could be a bit more generous with late check out - the policy is very strict there - but nothing serious to complain of.

Pros: Staff was easy going and room was clean and had mostly what I needed.
Cons: Wifi barely worked at all in my room. Like 30% of the time which meant I had to pay 10€ for a data SIM card to ensure I couple use my phone to look things up and keep in contact with friends in Berlin and at home. :-/

Pros: Location was great. Except for one fire/police incident that made us all leave the building that turned out to be nothing everything was good. Everyone at reception were nice and friendly. Except one, I arrive early. (1pm) I know check in was at 3pm and instead of a polite I'm sorry check in is at 3pm when asked for an realty check in I got a very curt and final, check ion is at 3pm, come back at 3pm. I understand check in policies as I travel a lot. He could have handled it better. Other than that everything was smooth for my trip.

Pros: The bed was two twins pushed together, quite uncomfortable. The hot tub on the roof wasn't very hot and the jets didn't work. The hallways are super dark and the lighting quite stark for the walls being basically black.
Cons: The breakfast was rather underwhelming. The eggs were obviously instant, which I guess it somewhat unavoidable.

Cons: Beds need to have something so they don't move. You have to be ready for no privacy when in the bathroom. Rooms need more outlets and more logical lighting.
