Staff were great and very accommodating. Can't beat the location
Room we were given had a toilet that would run for hours and it looked out at the best and ac unit for the whole building which we would hear throughout the night. Still a killer deal for being able to walk to and from the colder Boulder and avoid all the race traffic
Location is fabulous, but this hotel needs a lot of care and updating. Only 1 elevator of 3 worked. Everything looks really tired and worn out.
Great price and the furniture looked new!
I didn’t like the fact that when I arrived they told me I would have to downgrade my room since I had a service dog. As a veteran, I’m constantly reminded of the reason I have the dog and I didn’t need someone bringing it to the forefront and denying me what I paid for. I asked her to speak to a manager and the manager gave her the ok. Sadly, the manager never came out of the office and apologized for what happened. I get it, people bring fake service dogs with them and it causes you grief. But don’t assume all of us are fakes. It’s insulting and it’s hurtful.
Room was overbooked, had no hotel.
Everything
If I actually got to stay there ..
It was close to dining and attractions
Mattress was so so and cleanliness was so so
Hotel needs to be rejuvinated
The location is good, near the University and downtown Boulder. and on the bike/pedestrian trail system. Nice grounds.
After staying at the Millennium Bailey's in London, we thought this would be a good choice. It was not- while once a nice 1960's hotel, this place is tired--the pools out of service, ice not available except from the front desk, elevators out of service. Once restored or fixed up it could be good, but not now.
Pool was closed... ? Only the middle of the summer. Stay downtown, much more bang for your buck!
In Dire Need of a Refurbishment
Close proximity to University and downtown Boulder
Needs an update. Kitchen and pools were out of service, and appeared it had been that way for some time. My room back onto the Safeway loading dock, so garbage truck and semi truck noise was consistent at 5am in the morning.
Wet carpet in the room. They refused to change rooms for us nor did anything about the sopping wet carpet in the room.
Way outated
This hotel needs to close and undergo a serious re model with a new management company to give it a fresh feel.
Out of service pool and no functional elevators
Lacking in amenities
The bed was gigantic and room was very clean
None of the elevators worked...pool and hot tub we're closed in July...our shower handle kept moving during showers making the water temp scolding hot, ceiling above the shower was missing the ceiling panel
