Was it better than driving drunk home in a blizzard, yes. But not by much. Bed is not comfortable, hotel has a weird smell and did the heater when turned on. There were spots on the wall next to the bathroom sink. Pillow case was ripped. It beat ending up in the ditch but I may have been more comfortable in my car. Only saving grace is the people at the desk were very nice.
Pros (+) The staff was friendly
Cons (-) The pool had no chlorine and the pool filters did not run. Unfortunately we were swimming in it before we noticed. The hot tub has been out of order for months but it was advertised as useable (false advertisement). Also 1 of 2 beds were sandy/crumby in the sheets like they weren't washed. We did not receive any towels except 2 hand towels and 1 washcloth. An already opened and used soap was left ...

Pros (+) Everything is average, it's what I expected. Nothing more, nothing less. Main thing is that it was clean and had a decent enough bed to sleep on for one night.
Pros (+) Motel 6 is the Subway of lodging. It isn't great, but you know what you're getting, and that's okay. This one has a pool and hot tub - if those types of things entice you.
Cons (-) It's a Motel 6, you know what you're getting.
