8.0 Very good
Pros:The hotel is huge -- several 8 story building. The suite came with a full kitchen and recently renovated bathroom. The place is dated - but i liked it. The room had a wood burning fire place too. If you are on a week long ski trip - i think this would be a good base. The couch is a queen size bed - a family of four would be fine there.
E
6.5 Okay
Pros:Convenient location. Nice view of the slopes. Less expensive. Fire place. Kitchen had all the necessities.
Cons:Aging facilities. Furniture in room in terrible condition. Bed very uncomfortable. Paper thin walls. No restaurants open. Sliding glass door to the small balcony didnt close all the way making the room drafty
A
6.0 Okay
Pros:Proximity to snow, ski lift, etc
Cons:Old facilities needs to be updated.
A
8.8 Very good
Pros:Location is picturesque, close to downtown, food quality at dinner was excellent at Spencer's, friendly staff.
Cons:Entry door took multiple times to open on more than one occasion. Construction made finding my way around in building 5 a little confusing at times (from room to parking garage, from room to out the front door of the building.)
H
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Tons of space! 2 floors in our suite. Whole kitchen. really enjoyed the layout!
Cons:Super confusing layout and signage. Hard to figure out where you are going!
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:We stayed in the 4th building on the 8th floor over-looking the valley in a studio. It was a great view! It took us a little longer to get our room and they didn't have the room that we originally booked so they upgraded us. ( we were skiing so there was no rush to get into our room) The staff was friendly and the shuttle was very quick. The rooms were cozy and I loved having a balcony and little kitchen area. It also had a great big bathtub in its own room which was a little strange but it was nice after a long day of skiing. It was so quiet! The last place we stayed at we could hear everything but it was so peaceful and quiet, we had a great night sleep in our comfy bed!
Cons:The parking was a little tricky and navigating around the actual resort was a little strange and hard to get around. The room was a little dated but it was cozy. There wasn't a fireplace but the thermostat worked well and it didn't get too stuffy or hot. The bathtub room was very 80s but it was actually really nice and very much needed after a long day.
A
8.2 Very good
Pros:The rooms are always nice and the hot tubs are great!
Cons:Our room was either too hot or too cold and the bed was pretty lumpy and uncomfortable. Probably not the best bed I've ever slept in.
A
8.0 Very good
Pros:Great ski instructor, took two lessons. Very good teacher
Cons:Need better early breakfast food service
A
5.7 Fair
Pros:the location simply cant be beat. we grabbed our gear and walked about 300ft to the chair lift, strapped in, and we were off and running.
Cons:obscenely expensive considering the facilities. the entire building is stuck in the 70's and 80's. needs a remodel badly! awful furniture. beds/mattresses were uncomfortable and lumpy. poor shower pressure. toilets and sinks all clogged multiple times during our stay. no mini bar. the living room had blinds from the 80s that didnt even keep light out, so it was extremely bright first thing in the morning. patio had snow built up on it when we checked in, called maintenance to fix it, never happened. the cleaning staff literally does not speak 1 word of english. not even 1 word, like hello. nothing. paid $1500/night for a 2 bedroom suite during long weekend, not worth even 1/3 of that. only 1 elevator servicing each building frrom the A-Lobby. huge lines of people waiting for elevators following the ski day. extremely slow and inefficient.
A
6.8 Okay
Pros:Ski in, ski out convenience. choice of dining options. Free equipment locker. Free shuttle into downtown. Decent pool and hot tub facilities.
Cons:Super expensive for holiday weekend. Rooms outdated. Food overpriced.
