Anna Alba and her Son, Pietro were most welcoming as was the young lady on reception who gave us the choice of four rooms in the 'superior' category. The room we chose was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the lake. We loved the location - away from a noisy and busy main road but very close for visiting other resorts either by car or ferry. We thought the addition E12 for half board was very reasonable and the limited menu fresh and tasty. A good choice available for breakfast. The outside restaurant was always busy - a good sign that food is good, however, it did appear that a la cart diners were given a preferential service than that for the half board hotel guests!
We felt the hotel was showing signs of becoming a bit run down. The garden with the hot tub was 'scrubby'. The dining room looked like a 1950's tea room, with our hostess bringing and serving food for the half board guests off a hospital style trolley! The entrance to the dining and breakfast rooms from reception was a jumble with a bar and machines and crockery/glasses for drinks. Some mornings the area around the fruit juice machine was scattered with dirty dishes from the night before! Although very clean our bathroom was very dated and needed refurbishment.
excellent staff! the family was very nice and friendly. the view from the hotel was beautiful.
extremely small bathrooms and no hot water in the shower.
Hotel Brenzone had all the amenities we needed and is positioned in a quiet spot. Room with balcony is a must for the lake view. Very good breakfasts and evening meal, service friendly and helpful. There was little variety for vegetarians so we prefered to eat elsewhere. Good ferry service but not so frequent from here. Friendly receptionist and waitress.
The hotel owner seemed aloof and the local shop owned by the family was run by a disagreeable woman who was offhand and unhelpful towards us as English people. The bus service is a dead loss. The transfer company used by the hotel was satisfactory, it was on time and dropped us off at the hotel but on return we had to ask our nice waitress to push our cases up a steep hill to the minibus stop.
Very nice location, in a quiet small village. Quite good breakfast, and a very nice restaurant with beatiful views and good food.
Very, very basic rooms, specially the bathroom. There was no bath or shower, just a curtain over a wastepipe on the floor.
quiet, on lake, excellent breakfast
our room was very small,
The hotel is on the edge of Lake Garda giving fantastic views for the rooms on the Lake side. The dining room has panoramic windows giving the same views with the lake only a few meters away! Breathtaking! The hotel staff are very helpful, efficient & polite & as this is a family run hotel there is a lot of pride in the service. Food in the restaurant is excellent & we found it to be the busiest on evenings in Brenzone, speaks for itself.
The room cleaning was fine but things like soap, shampoo & plastic drinking glasses were not replaced on a daily basis!
Views of the lake were fantastic. The hotel's restaurant offered great local dishes and the staff were friendly and helpful.
No air conditioning or fans so rooms were very hot and sleeping was uncomfortably hot!
