Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport. The service and hospitality from staff and owners were highlighted as exceptionally warm and welcoming. Many appreciated the unique, charming Art Deco atmosphere and decor, which contributed to a memorable stay. However, several reviews noted the lack of elevators and some issues with cleanliness, such as unpleasant odors or maintenance needs in certain rooms. Overall, the positives of location, service, and ambiance stood out strongly.

Pros (+) Great central location, friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious.
Cons (-) A large road construction project made entering snd exiting the hotel difficult. No elevator so getting up and down to ththe fifth floor with luggage is tough. No central AC in rooms so it gets hot on upper levels (they give you fan and a small cooling unit).
