Hotel was right in the middle of everything you would want to see. Taxis out front and all tourist sights like royal palace and statues are around the corner.
discounted weekend room for single use turned out to be on top floor with no lift and no view of the garden - fair value, but not the great bargain it first seemed.
The location of this Hotel is very good.
The location, near the train connection to the airport, was great. The hotel was quaint, and had everything we needed.
Our room was across an outdoor courtyard (which was pretty), inside, up an elevator to the 4th floor, then up another flight of stairs.
The understated elegance of this former ambassadors residence made it feel like a privilige to stay here. The junior suite the 'folon suite" was very spacious and the decor was full of character. The sumptious bar and residents lounge were just wonderful- so peaceful. the staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. The location was suberb in the city but very quiet and tranquil with reasonably priced parking nearby. For the traveling connosieur who expects atmosphere. service and luxury in a 17th Century historic setting. What a wonderful experience!
The location, the historical character, the style, the comfort and the theme originality.
Great location, very clean, staff very helpfull
No elevator to our top floor.
This is one well situated classy hotel that represented great VFM.
everything!! probably the size and appointments of the room were the biggest and best surprise. Best European hotel I've ever stayed at.
If I weren't traveling light, I suppose I wouldn't want to lug my suitcase up a flight of stairs. But I DO travel light and the stairs are part of what makes this hotel what it is.
Room was unique and had great character and lots of space.
