“During my visit to Montevideo the hotel kindly allowed me to leave my luggage. I had a nice room and everything was cleaned daily and the TV worked. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel was in an excellent location close to the metro, many shops and restaurants. I liked the fact that many Argentinians stayed there, it was not one of these international hotels full of foreigners, like me.”

“The location of the hotel is good being close to cheaper restaurants and many shops. In addition it is only a short walk to the Subte {metro] station Plaza Miserere where I was able to buy my card for travel. The breakfast was basic continental but that was great since many meals in Buenos Aires seem to be massive. The staff were very helpful throughout and kindly looked after my suitcase in safe storage while I went off for a few days to Montevideo. They also sometimes exchanged my US Dollars which was very handy since at exchange offices one must produce one s passport with the Argentine entry stamp. Several times they ordered taxis for me confirming the destination which saved me time and stress. I certainly hope to stay here again and for a longer time.”
