They were overbooked. After a 90 minute wait at the lobby to check in I was offered another hotel as an alternative

The Hotel is very stylish with sophisticated Art Nouveau design and perfectly reflects the atmosphere of Ricoleta. In spite that bathroom is not that big it harmonically suits the concept of the interior. Perfectly white sheets and towel. Very friendly and efficient English speaking staff!!!! Whatever they suggested (Tango show, place to eat and to go) was and excellent choice. Very convenient location.
The breakfast was quite poor and not really delicious. The room rate was usd 93. But the account comes in Pesos. So when first they use special rate to convert dollars into pesos, and then visa uses different rate while you pay by card the final room rate gets up to usd 110. However taking into account that we booked a standard room but were placed into suites (with the same price as standard one) and also because of very effcient stuff and general satisfaction with the hotel the exchage rate didn't spoil our impression at all.

The location is the best thing this hotel has to offer and the staff is quite helpful.
The rooms are a bit worn - especially the carpets which would benefit from a good cleaning. The hair dryer in my room did not work and the walls are paper thin.
