Overall was good. Room clean, quiet place. Might be the middle of town but there is not much traffic. Owner/manager friendly, works way to hard.
The second morning, the owner was not there, we did not get the breakfast. The staff knew we were there, we talked to them yet we were ignored and finally left. Really disappointed since the first morning the full English was very good.
This place is more of a pub with letting rooms rather than a hotel
Professional manager who spoke to and got rid of a drunken visitor to guests in next room. This unfortuntely did not resolve the issue.
Paperwork for stay not found when we first arrived, so room not booked. Noisy/drunken guests in next room until 3am and then again from 6am. Noise from people on street outside hotel room from about 1.00am
Cosy, small and a familiar tone.
TV-set in the room was a little bit poor, but on the other hand, good facilities in the pub.
Breakfast was good
Room was dirty and in a poor state of repair. The shower did not work very well. The curtains were inadequate to keep out the light from a streetlamp right outside the window. There was a lot of noise from the street below ahich could have been excluded if there had been double glazing. Overall, the hotel could do with a serious makeover.
