I found that lousy customer service. I could have pushed it to the manager to see if they can but after a long day of travel I didn't have the patience to bother. They could've asked their manager for me. It was very annoying.

Cons: Typically I hate to complain but due to the experience, I feel I should provide my review. It was a five nights stay. Really slow slow shower. Bed linens, towels, sheets were not set well. There was a odor in the room. Coffee machine was not working. Power outlet was not working. TV channels were working intermittently and didnt even have the basic channels to view. Inspite of asking a few times to provide drinking water - there was no response from the staff. I wonder how do hotels like these get a 4 star rating. Internet, breakfast, TV channels are not part of the price.

Fitness area under is above average for the price point. The pool area is clean and looks great. Underground parking felt secure, although I would like to see more camera. This hotel will be on my short list choice affordable, quality, city center locations to stay.
Cons: Hotel is going through growing pains as part of being 1.5 yrs into a 5yr renovation. Only 3 of 4 elevators working, which increases wait times. One of the three elevators card-reader was intermittently not working for me. Parking can be limited at times. Many of the more convenient stalls are reserved by indigo.

Rooms are quite outdated (older furniture, decor, etc) but the bed was comfortable and the price was right. Location is perfect and parking is very reasonable as well. If you are looking for a downtown hotel on a budget this is the one. There aren't any frills but if all you want is a comfortable bed and a clean room at a great price, this has it.
Cons: Outdated room - old pull-out couch with cigarette burns in arms, dressers are old and scratched/nicked, plug in our bathtub would not work. Pool was okay but hot tub has no jets and was not very warm and a yellow-green tinge to the water - like having a bath with several strangers.

Cons: pool didn’t have towels I asked they didn’t bring them, elevator was broken the entire time, better checkout system (no line ups), bathrooms are tiny and old, room was ok, the store downstairs was closed all the time, considering everything around is 9-5 type of business kind of sucks.

Cons: Manager and front staff rude. Rooms old and not well supplied. Heat blasting and set to 30 degrees asked front desk to fix the issue 4x, they never did. Had to move rooms at 1:30 am. With never an apology. Rude management.

Pros: Beds are comfy, bathroom was kept clean, location was near tim hortons, McDonalds, and shopping centers which was great
Cons: The cleaning staff knocked on our door about 3 times per day between 9am - 11am before we left the room to see if they could clean, could hear vacuum in hall by 9am, We weren't allowed to check in until 3pm, but then people walked up right after us and checked in no problem, I understand we may have been assigned a room but I'm sure there could have been a way to accommodate us as I had driven through the night to get there and wanted to sleep before my festival which started at 3.

Cons: There was a wedding/event on the first floor the night of our stay. Our room was on the third floor. We heard music and felt vibrations from the bass late into the night and couldn't get to sleep. The front desk did nothing. For a hotel that advertises its proximity to the airport, this was ridiculous for travellers that need to wake up early for morning flights. I heard other guests complaining in the hallway as well. I don't expect much, but I'd have been better off at a Motel 6 or in my car than this. I e-mailed a complaint directly to the hotel afterward but got no response.

Pros: I was upgraded from a queen size room to a king size room for free, so there was plenty of space and the room itself had a nice modern finish.
Cons: One week later I haven’t received my $50 damage deposit back yet and I don’t have a Canadian number from which to call them. Could kayak contact them on my behalf?

Pros: Love the location. 2 blocks away from the sky train, which was perfect for the reason for our stay - Calgary Comic Expo. Loved the customer service that the breakfast staff provided. Pretty sure the lady that serves us was still there from last year. She is the ONLY reason I gave 3 stars for staff!
Cons: Front desk service SUCKED! There was a wedding booked at the same time as our stay. The room we were given was sub-par. The toilet leaked. We called down to the front desk and encountered resistance. Almost as if to say "so what do you want me to do about it?". Was informed that he would call back shortly, as he was busy. It took over an hour for the call back. Once front desk had determined that the leak was legit (half a trashcan full within an hour), he THEN switched us rooms, again to a sub-par room. No apology was given, infact, while the agent was figuring out which room to give, he complained about one of the other guests (they were asking how to get downstairs). While I totally understand that people get busy, stressed out or just plain have " had enough", there was absolutely NO reason to act this way towards someone that was also paying for a room. This was a return visit due to how well we were treated the first time. Unfortunately, based on THIS experience, we will be seeking an alternative hotel for our next Expo trip.

Pros: Great location for my purposes, rooms are basic, but the price is reasonable, and I wasn't expecting a resort at this price. Internet was good at all the times I used it, the pub is good, and the food was good.
Cons: Parkade is under construction, rooms are dated, but clean. Continental breakfast could use more variety.
