Been several times. Always nice.
If you're not having a great time at Moon Palace,
This resort goes a ones and beyond for all if their guests to be having a good time. From children, teenagers, to adults this resort goes above and beyond like I have never seen before. There's always something for everyone. The pools are beautiful with ample amounts to sit. The restaurants are all very good (make reservations at the golf coarse restaurants... We loves the Italian one so much we did it two nights). The entertainment is comparable to that of Las Vegas. The rooms are spacious and cleaned to perfection daily. The landscaping is beautiful. Again, if you are not havingn a good time here then there is something wrong with you. This place was a true paradise with top notch service. I really thought I was in heaven and will most definitely be back next year!
There was nothing not to like.
The rooms were beautiful, well-stocked, clean and comfortable. We had a suite with 2 ocean view balconies, a jacuzzi in the bedroom, walk-in closet. It was big and felt luxurious which we enjoyed. The property was clean and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
The resort is HUGE! We were only there for 4 days and it felt overwhelming to make decisions about where to eat, what to do, etc. It took us a day to orient ourselves because we didn't receive a good orientation to the property when we checked in (they were only interested in getting us to the sales pitch breakfast). The restaurants lacked ambiance and I felt like I was in a Vegas casino in the lobbies. It was also so busy and there were so many people everywhere that I never felt like I was fully relaxed. I spent most of the time on the beach so I wouldn't have to listen to the loud music and games being played by the pools. The sand was white and soft, but the water was covered in seaweed so it wasn't great for swimming. The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. This might be a good choice if you were planning an extended stay, but even if I were going on a longer trip I would not stay here again. I was with a group of friends so it didn't stop us from having a great time (the all-inclusive alcohol helped!) but the resort was not a highlight of the trip.

In total, the resort features two well-appointed playrooms for children whose activities are always supervised by onsite child care staff. This means children over 4 can be left for a few hours while parents pursue their own activities. The Sunrise Playroom boasts a catwalk, Xbox area, a dollhouse, and even a little theater with cushioned seats that allows children to perform their talent. A baby area for 0-3 year olds can be used with parents supervising. Outside, children will find a monkey bar, swings, and a seesaw. Playroom Nizuc focuses on interactive games and boasts a market, school, video game area, and carousel, to name some of the facilities.
As part of their extensive activity services, the resort wows guests with a diversified evening program, complete with musicals and their signature Mexican Fire Show. Karaoke nights are fun for the whole family and you can showcase your talent on stage, whereas themed parties aim at adults to have fun in the late hours and beyond. Fantastic acrobatic stunts await at this resort, and with the updated schedule you receive upon arrival, make sure to take your favorite picks.
Instead of your everyday executive lounge, relish the resort’s Wired Lounge that welcomes with a well-equipped arcade, a video game room, and a bar where you can recharge with snacks and drinks after gaming away. Being a great hotspot for children, the Wired Lounge is also a fantastic playground for adults where they can mingle and play billiards.
The main Awe Spa is a place where adults of 18+ can relax and enjoy the inviting spa menu available; however, the resort boasts Awe Princess now, which introduces specifically designed treatments for children. Little princesses-to-be can enjoy a fun manicure or pedicure here with any nail varnish they like. Hairdos are also available in the mini-spa, and their Sweet Caramel treatment shows girls how to braid their hair in fun ways. If you are getting married here and want your flower girl to look her best, let her indulge in the Cotton Candy Hairdo for special occasions.

The package includes breakfast in bed, petit fours brought to your room, wine, a complimentary dinner, and late check-out until 4:00 pm, among more. If you opt for the deluxe version, in addition to all the above, you can also expect a couple’s treatment at the spa, floral arrangements in your room, chocolate-covered strawberries, a romantic dinner, and excursions that can include a snorkel tour and horseback riding.
