Pros: This was a fantastic place. Slightly more per night than we usually spend but totally worth it given the family friendly atmosphere and attention we got. They have tons of activities and amenities for the beach that are free. The grounds and facilities are very nice. They have a lot of special features for kids that we just loved - books in the room upon arrival, kid bath robes, a stuffed toy, and a new pack and play. Only good things to say about this place. We will be coming back for sure.

Pros: The room was clean and modern. Beds were really comfortable. the staff brought us a movie and two bags of popcorn at no additional charge. The bonfires on the beach with smores were the highlight of our stay. The weather was warm enough that we could leave the balcony door open and sleep to the sound of the ocean waves.
Cons: Room was a bit small to have 2 adults and 2 older children (14 and 17).

Pros: This hotel was truly one of a kind and you feel a little like A Silicon Valley CEO on a weekend getaway when you stay. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating and the amenities were fantastic. Everything is very walkable and the iconic Haystack rock was right outside our window. It was a great spot for families with kids as the beach is just steps from your door.
Cons: You’ll pay for what you get and the location... it’s an expensive hotel. We thought it was worth splurging for the experience.

Pros: I have stayed at the Ecola large several times and it is always present. It’s away from town a bit but Cannon Beach is so small that nothing is really that far. The staff is always so nice and it’s always clean and quiet. Also a nice facility.

Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is charming and has character. The restaurant staff is attentive. Our room had almost everything we needed except a good night sleep.
Cons: Both of us found it impossible to get a good nights sleep. The street lights shined through the window coverings lighting up the room. Blackout curtains would fix this. There was an exhaust fan that ran all night, it seemed like it was from the restaurant below our room. We had opened the windows due to a wonderful 80 degree day at the beach. Maybe it's not so loud with the windows closed. My husband thought the carpet was dirty and ended up spot cleaning it.

Cons: We stayed in Room 6, which is "classic" a step up from "basic." We opened the door and were greeted with a tiny room and stifling heat. We complained, the staff ignored and took hours to find us a fan. The shower was so small it was unusable. We definitely felt we were given the "bad room" because we booked through a discount website. We wouldn't go back.

Pros: It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of being directly downtown, but still close enough to walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful and the Inn itself was calm, quiet, and serene. I will definitely stay here again and suggest it to anyone I know that is heading to Cannon Beach!

Pros: The room was beautifully appointed with a fireplace and patio where you could look out and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Ocean. The fixtures were pretty and thoughtfully done. Gorgeous thick white robes. The courtyard and fountain welcomed you to sit awhile. The library off the courtyard was beautiful and had games for kids and books to borrow.
