The hotel is in a great location. The room was clean. It felt like an old motel with an inexpensive remodel done. I was there for a wedding and the ironing board was child size. Every time the people next door opened or closed it was like they were in the room. The door had a visible opening on the bottom & I was concerned something would crawl in while sleeping. Cons (-) In room thermostat went from 60 to 80- it would not hold temp near 70 degrees. Restaurant has only bar food.

Pros (+) This little hotel was clean, neat, stylish, family and pet friendly. The staff was very nice and incredibly accommodating. The restaurant wasn't half bad either. Its a drive to Carmel-by-the Sea, but only steps away from the shops and restaurants that locals actually frequent.
Cons (-) It's right off of a major road, which is convenient but not as quaint and quiet as the rest of Carmel. Still a great value!
