Excellent 9.0
Pros: staff
Cons: the shower was leaking and the wifi didn't work
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really nice and special hotel in this old but great building. The ambiance in the whole hotel and the rooms is great with all the art around. The staff was extremely helpfull.
Cons: Very small detail: the shower button couln‘t be turned as much so only the hand shower would work.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Unbelievable… beautiful… the staff so helpful. It was as if they thrived on our comfort and happiness… we left this wonderland less than 10 hours ago and we are discussing our next stay in Catania… YES YES YES we will return !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stayed at Asmundo di Gisira just for one night but will def come back again. Catania old town is a mystical place and reflects the old world charme perfectly. Within this magical spot stands Asmunda Palazzo. It’s a mixture of hotel, art gallery and museum. We even got a tour around like in a museum. The staff is super friendly. We had to do a covid test and they did everything to make it happen on a Sunday. Our room was outstanding with a great view, super large and filled with exquisite furniture and art pieces. The breakfast on the terrace the next morning was delicious. Fresh fruits and juices, espresso and dolci. This place is pricey but worth every cent. And if you want to eat really, really good go to Osteria Antica Marina right within the fish market. One of the best pasta and freshest fish we had in whole Italia!!
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Anyone travelling through Sicily would be crazy not to spend a couple of nights in Catania with its beautiful beaches vibrant markets, culture and cuisine this is the authentic Sicily and very friendly. This hotel is exquisite, opulent, clean relaxing & tranquil even though in the central busy cultural hub right next to one of the most famous markets. Staff over and above. Art lovers hotel with stunning roof views. Amazing balcony breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great unique hotel with very kind and attentive staff members. We will definitely come back if we are going to Catania again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners are amazing. They really care about their guests. You can tell in their attention to detail. Also the rooms have memory foam beds. They are stiff but great! Awesome location.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. Understand staying here you are at the center of everything. With that comes noise at night. Just bring something to mask it if you are I light sleeper. I can sleep in all conditions and loved it.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Francesco and Mariacristina are very lovely, kind, and helpful hosts! We received recommendations what to see in Catania and where to eat. They made sure we had memorable stay. Francesco prepares tasty and big breakfast every morning. He was kind enough to make it early for us last day when we had to leave to the airport. The location is just amazing, few steps from the main square, wow! Our apartment was very spacious, well-equipped, and clean. We had very good stay over there, grazie!
Cons: Some small details which could be improved to make it even better. Check-in could be a bit faster. Walls in the apartment could use some painting. Keep in mind that you are staying in the central point of the city so it might be a bit noisy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All was good. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Exceptional location just a block from Piazza Duomo where you can pick up the tourist buses too. Nice couple who own the apartments, excellent breakfast and such a view!! The woman owner even walked me to a local good restaurant for dinner. The building is a bit run down but the apartments are nice. And an elevator for those of us with mobility issues. Yay!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quaint, cosy, central. Brilliant hosts and a fantastic breakfast.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Teresa is a wonderful host! we felt at home and can't wait to be back. Thank you Teresa and please do cuddle Airon on our behalf! Alice e Francesco
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Location is great close to nice restaurants and bars, place is cosy and neat, breakfast was ok (not exceptional as advertised by booking.com). Private parking available at the property (with additional fee). Clean place.
Cons: We didn’t have a great experience here, specially at checkout. In the booking confirmation it said check-out was 10-10:30am. Regardless of that, Teresa was really upset when we left at 10:30am. There was a sign in the hotel saying checkout was at 9am, which we didn’t see. She opened the door just before 10.30am very annoyed with the fact that we hadn’t left yet. Still, my booking confirmation said until 10.30. When we left she said “I think you booked the wrong place for your visit”, which I agreed with. Besides the unpleasant farewell, the previous night we mistakenly parked on a different slot. She had pointed out the area we could park in if our original place was taken. We parked on the side she pointed but not on the exact spot. You should mark it so no one gets confused and you end up upset and telling off guests. Breakfast is 7-9am, don’t expect any flexibility if you want to leave earlier for Mt. Etna, or have breakfast later. This place is for quiet travelers. I wouldn’t go with my partner there. It felt like boarding school. I wouldn’t go back.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Teresa, the owner of the B&B is absolutely lovely and very easy to engage with. She gave me some very good suggestions in going to the beach, and that was great. Breakfast was very nice, typical continental with a few added Italian touches. I was upgraded on arrival and the room was spacious & very comfortable. Bathroom, wifi, view from the juliet balcony and french doors was onto the square below, and really enjoyable. The location is perfect, able to walk around to anywhere from there. Really enjoyed my stay there & would look to return when able.
Cons: not applicable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfectly located in Catania, great hosts, absolutely spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Thank you Teresa, we had a great time and will come back if in Catania again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We loved absolutely everything! The suite was amazing. Spacious, quite and cosy. Beds incredibly comfortable. Each of us four had his towels set in a different color so we always knew which was whose. Terrace was my favourite place in whole Katania :P You had to climb a lot of stairs to get to this suite but the view was absolutely worth it. Teresa is the best host you can imagine. Very kind and helpful. Her breakfasts are already famous among other comments and I'm not suprised why :) You can always meet somebody interesting at the common table to talk to over the breakfast. Crociferi B&B is the kind of place that you would like to revisit someday.
Cons: We were missing a desk or a table, something that you can use to work on a laptop for a while.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Its the best B&B ever! Very nice location, just in the famous Via Crociferi with a lot of churches on one side and a lot of small restaurants and bars on the other side! Very nice hosts! Great atmosphere in the room of an old palazzo! Great décor and great breakfast in the host´s nicely decorated kitchen! No better stay in Catania than here!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing breakfast, great location, fabulous hosts!
Good 6.0
Pros: A great location and a comfortable room.
Cons: The wi-fi connection was very poor. A charming restaurant was across the street from my room, and there was much street noise until past 10pm. The toilet did not flush .... I was told this had been taken care of, but it had not. Finally, I was double charged for the Room Tax . :)

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The room was huge. Bed very comfortable. .We had to leave early on the second morning and we were given a voucher for breakfast at the nearby cafe which was very good.
Cons: Unfortunately the breakfast buffet wasn’t available due to Covid-19 restrictions so we received it in our room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: In one word - Clara!! She wins! The care and awareness that she showed for her guests and her city, with great tips and ideas for everything we wanted to do, was simply fantastic. She read our minds!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was a great experience! The Palazzo has such a great story behind and everything is so well organised! Full of charm, very clean, comfortable, great location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and veeery good coffee. We have nothing to complain about. As I mentioned before, it comes with its own charm that is priceless! 🌟
Cons: -
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Tastefully furnished room in a central and at the same time quiet location. Exceptionally friendly staff!
Cons: Only small negative point : the balcony was occupied by an air-conditioner, so we couldn't enjoy it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely place with lovely staff. From the beginning they were super friendly to us, would recommend the place to anyone staying in Catania.
Good 7.0
Pros: The location and hotel was great. Clean and spacious.
Cons: The breakfast was not worth paying for. Due to Covid, they deliver boxes however the food was warm and soggy/ stale as if it had been sitting out. I do not recommend getting the breakfast through them.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, hospitality, breakfast smell and cleaning.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the bathroom! Cute room and decorations.
Cons: It was empty when we arrived. No check in staff or other guests around.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good location, great large room and very comfortable bed. It is close to the bus for the airport and a very good base for Catania as it is very central and close to restaurants and Piazza Duomo.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location in the middle of the city centre. Easy to reach by metro (5 minutes walk) from the train- and bus-station. The entrance was like a palace, the room I had was big and with all good facilities. Also a very nice balcony to sit and enjoy the city-vibe.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is awesome, cleaning is done every morning with fresh towels given. Bathroom is cleaned also, and the reception guy Carlo is amazing. Very nice and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay while in Catania.
Cons: The room decoration was a bit old, but all worked and was confortable. The noise of the other guests when someone was entering or leaving their room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Safe neighborhood to go in and out at any hour.. and in the very center of everything. Working Elevator! Spotless Room was lovely in an old palazzo restored just enough to still feel authentic but have a very modern bathroom with a great shower! For me this was a definite 5 star value. I woke up every morning feeling like a countess living in an old palazzo. Would love to return.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location was brilliant, beds are very nice and the staff is pleasant, willing to help and kind

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Carmelo is a very kind host always available for tips. At my arrival he introduced me to the beauty of the historic listed building of the B&B. My room was very spacious, really well furnished and pleasantly very clean. AC is a must in Sicily during summer and it helped to have a great sleep together with the double glazed big window which stopped any possible noise coming from outside. The B&B is perfectly located in the centre of Catania, a few steps to the cathedral, right close to the famous fish market and restaurants as well as the main Via Etnea with all the shops. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions it’s not allowed to have a breakfast by the B&B. However Carmelo arranged for a voucher to be used by a well known and elegant café nearby with a rich selection of Sicilian delicatessen. I highly recommend staying at Carmelo’s B&B. You will enjoy it for sure!
Cons: I simply enjoyed everything!
Good 7.5
Pros: The size of the room was great and the location of the room couldn't be any more central. The bedding was ever so comfortable.
Cons: Be ready for 2 flight of stairs. The planks of the bedroom platform were squeaking all night as soon as you moved in your bed. The shower enclosure needs some maintenance
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great! Carmelo is great! He helps with any issue, gives great advice, tells history, and take care of his guests! Hi recomended!
Cons: A little bit hard for parking, but Carmelo helps. Just ask!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Location super central! Extremely professional and welcoming owner. Clean and large room and bathroom with personality. Good price. Very quiet aircon that you control yourself. Cool UNESCO listed building. Lots of charm.
Cons: Very noisy - old building, could hear neighbour's every word, and the fan, flush, footsteps etc. from rooms adjacent and above. Also people coming and going outside my door. A few times it was so loud I thought somebody was actually IN my room. But street noise was really limited, and with earplugs you would probably be fine.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Extremely central location vlose to many restaurants and bars and just outside of the main square.
Cons: The room was so hot we couldn't sleep. The AC in the room was set up to 16 degrees throught the whole night but it felt like there was no cooling at all and we could barely sleep due to the heat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very central location, near all of the main attractions. Anyone good on their feet can easily travel about Catania from this location. If you have a car Carmelo is excellent at helping you find a location to park. Carmelo gave out his personal contact information so that you could reach him for help at any time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Mr. Carmelo and his brother with the staff Christian were very helpful and nice. The location of B&B is more than perfect ( city centre) . With all my heart we recomend this accomodation.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent b&b, I'll happily return if I'm ever in Catania again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was extremely helpful. The location is perfect, so close to the main area. They don't serve breakfast because of the covid but you can use everything in common area. Room was big and clean, totally recommended!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This property is well located 5min from Teatro Massimo and the san berillo district. The facility boasts of a swanky huge kitchen with modern bathrooms with great shower pressure :) Antonella made us feel at home by catering to our special needs. Thank you for your hospitality Antonella
Cons: Probably mosquito nets on all windows would be a wise investment. We used mosquito repellent !
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Had a great and peaceful stay. Recommended. Very central as wel. Nice hosts and spacious rooms with everything clean! Thank you!
Cons: Perhaps I could have had a coffee machine. But I got out for a cup so it was good
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very nice reception by Jane! The place is very central and is in a courtyard with several neighbours. The first day there were kids playing, neigbours chatting, music being played and dogs barking - all in a mixture. It was like being in a Fellinii movie! It was not disturbing at all. The rest of my stay it was all quiet. The bathroom had hotel standard! Breakfast great!
Cons: I would have liked to have had a desk in my room, I saw later that other rooms did and will ask for this next time I am coming.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent property and very convenient to Hotel. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Special Restaurant . Excellent food
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown. Aperitivo was amazing and we had a great dinner at the Restaurant. Thanks to the waiter.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We did have a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. Staff was very nice, I guess it's a good value for money
Cons: Don't count on shuttles from the airport to the hotel, had to walk 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. Room is very basic
Okay 5.0
Pros: Free airport shuttle bus. Clean and big room.
Cons: The room was clean however the corridors and elevators were quite dirty. The swimming pool was opened only 10am to 6pm. If you staying just overnight with later arrival, you can hardly use it.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: -- We payed for the breakfast but we havent'got anything, even no a cup of coffee . They stated that breakfast service starts at 7 and since we ha ve to leave at 6:30, they cannot provide any thing in place. -- Soap in the room almost missing! -- Very few blankets in the room -- Bed sheet rough and hard
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice big room
Cons: I did not like the fact that all companies kayak booking hotel com amoma publish one price and when you agree the price changes and ther is all ways a folse information that at the end you pay more from the publish price or you have to pay extras which are supposed to be included so please stop bloofing the customers
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Room spacious and clean. Close to airport.
Cons: Shuttle pickup slow. Seem to run the shuttle hourly. So close to the airport it could be as needed or, at least, twice per hour.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Room was large and clean but next to some staff room at the very end of the hall downstairs so could hear loud talking. The location is good for travelers having to fly in and out of Catania airport. The hotel has a shuttle for 5 Euros.
Cons: At a minimum coffee or tea should be provided for guests no matter even if they paid less than another guest. The hotel is not near restaurants and cafes so you would have to leave the hotel to go to a cafe.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: Room was a nice size and it was clean.
Cons: Steph was unfriendly and unhelpful. Also, shuttle bus was full when we needed it. We needed to get to the airport at 5 o'clock in the morning. That's why we stayed at the hotel! Had to take a taxi for $20 instead.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Good location. Generally pleasant and helpful staff. quick response from room service. Excellent potato and mushroom soup in the restaurant!!. Except for the bathroom safety issue, the room was good and when no opener was available for the minibar, one was quickly supplied along with the room service. We had a great view of Etna from our room that afternoon--an unexpected plus after spending ten days in other parts of Sicily.
Cons: Downgraded you on "facilities" primarily on the safety issue. Like all European hotels, no one seems to make it easy for older people to get in and out of the shower/tub safely. Besides the wall bar, there are hold bars that fasten to the edge of a tub which are helpful in getting out. I have seen some here in the US, don't think I saw any in European hotels. Also square toilet seat was a surprise--we even took a photo because we had never seen such before--but I don't find that it is very comfortable to sit on!

Okay 4.0
Pros: Staff is nice and the room had a good size with a nice balcony facing a garden. But no privacy whatsoever when one is in the balcony. I had to close the door when the host in the next room decided to smoke outside :-(
Cons: The hotel needs a good refurbishment. The swimming pool faces the main road which is rather busy and noisy. Forget about relaxing by the pool! The surroundings are the worst - a long dirty beach from where we can see the busy and polluted harbour of Catania. A long strech of road with hotels and amusement parks on one side, and a barrier of restaurants that block the view to the beach. After all the beautiful places we had visited in Sicily, this was a punch in the stomach. No reason to go there unless you need to spend a night close to the airport.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very nice hotel, confortable. Nice breakfast and decent size pool with garden and bar
Cons: The pool is next to the street so it can get a bit noisy sometimes. And the location is mostly accessible by car. Kinda hard if you want to walk
Good 6.0
Pros: It is close to the airport, but you need to put up with arrogant staff who prefer to serve Italian customers and facilities and rooms that are very worn. Needs a complete overhaul!
Cons: Airconditioning was loud and didn’t work
Good 6.0
Cons: The hotel beach was not open and this is the hight season so you have to walk 400 meters to a large open swimming area for all of the public, the hotel boasts of a own private beach this was not open. this was disaponting. also you had to use your own towel or pay for one. Breakfast if you wanted to order a freid egg it cost 8 € this is not normal for a breakfast high extra costs my room booked was with a balcony looking out onto a garden, i was looking out on to a road not nice at all.
Good 7.0
Pros: friendly staff , especially at the restaurant the facilities : bar, restaurant, pool very good breakfast close to the beach - and the place they agreed to offer you a sunbed and umbrella at the beach is very nice
Cons: At the beginning you will be disappointed and you will see only the bad parts does not look as good and impressive as in the pictures, it is pretty old and dirty especially on the hallways they clean the room every day so the superficial cleaning and maintenance is ok but this hotel needs a really deep cleaning The good news is that after 2 days you will start to get used to it and to see the good parts as well ( especially if you go to the pool and to the restaurant)
Okay 5.0
Pros: Room filthy, shower corroded , toilet makes a strange noise you think its going to fall off the wall. corridor carpets all dirt patches & stains. I rate it 1Star hotel. Room was so hot the air-condition wasn't working i had to call reception twice during the night we were sweating she said she will do her best but room was still hot . She said it temperature was 22 but it was showing 28 / 30 on my thermometer
Cons: I booked a few minutes before i went in to the hotel. I was traveling for work the past 2 days, but I decided to stay an extra day a leisure by mistake I ticked the room rate without breakfast , there was only a 3 euro difference in price. As I went in the Hotel i asked the receptionist if we can take breakfast she said yes at a charge of €17 each this is not right
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Comfortable rooms and connected rooms ideal for friends or family. Ample parking (at a charge but safe) COVID-19 measures taken Beaches/Lido's walking distance, hotel offers entrance in one of the lido's Not far from airport
Cons: If not traveling with own or rented car, centre is distant and doesn't look save to walk in the dark. No Restaurant No prominade
Excellent 8.5
Excellent 8.5
Okay 4.5
Pros: Outstanding breakfast and food.
Cons: Unable to control the temperature of my room. What's the point of having A/C controls in the room if they do not work and are controlled by reception? Totally unacceptable for a supposed 4 star hotel. I must have called reception about 5-7 times because my room was too warm. I kept getting told that the temperature for my room specifically was lowered which is untrue. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, I was hoping for a good night's sleep and didn't get it. Extremely annoyed.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very quiet despite its close proximity to busy beaches and the airport, and it has a great pool, and serves great food to boot!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super helpful staff as always, my 5th stay at this hotel and always a good stay. Pool and Beach access are great for all. Breakfast was good. rooms are clean and quiet. Location is great, Close to Catania without the downtown traffic.
Cons: No issues
Good 7.0
Cons: I wish there were better restaurants nearby.
Okay 4.0
Cons: After travelling around Sicily, me and my partner decided to end our trip in a 5 star hotel. We considered Romano Palace Luxury Hotel to be as “Luxury” as it sounded. We arrived there tired from a day of travelling with a lot of heavy luggage in which NONE of the staff helped us carry it into our room. There was nothing significant about the room in itself, the bed wasn’t overly comfortable and there was damp on our ceiling! We ordered room service, two Sicilian deserts to go with a bottle of champagne we bought as a romantic ending to our trip. The deserts were over priced for what they were and to get it delivered to our room was an extra €10! My partner ordered the Sicilian desert Cannoli which was served broken? In a rush to leave the morning after for our flight back to the UK, my partner dialled reception and asked them what time airport transfers are available, the receptionist told us from 8am. My partner decides to make the most of what was available for breakfast (pretty standard). Whilst I was packing in our hotel room I received a call from reception “your taxi is waiting” despite not ordering one yet. Feeling rushed to leave, we pack as quick as we can together and head down stairs where we were then over charged for our room !!! A €70 something charge was added onto our bill and the total cost was €200 for a one night stay !!! Wasting more of our time, we then had to tell the receptionist to remove this charge they nearly scammed us for. After taking ages to sort payments our taxi (in which we didn’t order yet) tries to then charge us an extra €10 for “waiting time” when that was the hotels fault! A total disaster, we did not feel welcomed, comfortable, relaxed and helped at all. We will not be staying here again.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Um there was nothing to like about this dated property. Nothing 5 star about it.
Cons: Staff were unfriendly, the location was terrible - ideal if you want to bury a body without anyone seeing, rooms were small and tired.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: The hotel is very dated, presumably securing a 5* rating in the 80s and hasn’t changed the decor since. Very strange vibe in the hotel. The only positive I can think of for the hotel is the proximity to the airport (about a 5 minute drive, which ended costing us €30 in a taxi?!). Location otherwise is hopeless. Can’t walk to any supermarket for food/water as the pavement disappears at a very busy junction and the walk is dangerous and unsafe. This is made even worse as the food/drink available at the hotel is very disappointing and service of staff poor. Private beach opposite the hotel run by locals who make tourists feel unwelcome and very run down, which leaves only the pool to spend any time at. If you want to go into town it’s €15 each way, and with nothing else to do at the hotel/local area you are almost forced to pay €30 each day to go into town and back. We ended up cancelling our stay here after 3 days and went further up the coast to Tourmina which was gorgeous and would highly recommend before spending any time at this hotel. Don’t make the mistake we made.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The grounds outside were nicely maintained
Cons: Looks dated needs an uplift, i wouldnt call this a five star hotel.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Bad breakfast !!!! The bread wasn’t fresh bad coffee
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff at reception, room with balcony, beach facilities, breakfast,
Cons: Could really do with children's pool, lots of kids splashing and screaming in pool takes away fifth star

Okay 5.0
Pros: Good coffee in the restaurant, room daily cleaned , hotel close to the beach and free sunbeds, clean beach, no problem with ordering a taxi, flexible pay options.
Cons: Terrible breakfast, wifi only in the reception , very hard mattress, loud audible noise from the street, in the area there is a lot of abandoned buildings, generally the area is uninteresting, the Lidl store is far away and the attention of the service drew attention to me when I brought shopping to my room for my child ...they make a photocopy of a passport, ID , what does not seem to be necessary in the present times of the EU Rodo?
Good 7.0

Excellent 8.0
Pros: close to airport breakfeast ok
Good 7.0
Pros: Great hotel to stay at if you get in to the airport late and don’t feel like driving far or if you have an early flight in the morning. Great staff and an awesome bar just outside of the hotel. It’s about a 8 minute ride to the airport and about a $25-$30 taxi ride
Okay 5.0
Cons: No welcoming staff and no aircondition working
Okay 5.0
Pros: Poor White Bread was cheap and dry
Cons: The rooms are very old and simple
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The reception was nice obviously the only place they have spent any money. The cafe/ diner next door was excellent, a lovey fresh Pizza in the evening, a great cup of coffee and lovely fresh pastries for breakfast. The guys who work there were really friendly and very helpful.
Cons: Everything. Once through the reception the interior is like a prison landing, walls bare, heavy doors, no colour. The rooms are bland, no tea or coffee provisions, the furniture is old, the bed very hard and uncomfortable, did not want to fully check out the mattress otherwise I know I would not have slept in the bed. The receptionist was rude when we wanted to check out 5 mins after we had walked in and she refused a refund. Did not use the restaurant at the place so cannot comment. I have stayed in hostels much better than this place for a 1/3 of the price. Would not recommend unless you are desperate for a late night stop for an early flight in the morning. Shower was nice and hot Cost of a room should be about £25 per night. It’s only classed as a hotel because it has a lift, I personally would call it a bad hostel. There were so many simple things they could to make it so much better.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, lady receptionist was very nice and helped us a lot, let us feel welcomed and taken care of, was a highlight of our stay. Fairly clean, good location, excess to beach across the street, gaz station nearby. The restaurant made some custom vegan menu for us which was nice.
Cons: Veeery noisy, not only because of flying planes, but more due to cars passing by. Thin walls. Definitely not a good place for light sleepers. A bit higher standard was expected based on booking.com photos. We booked a room with a large double bed and get a room with two twin beds put together. Be aware of the mosquitos - in this part of town they're especially hungry, don't reccomend to leave window open over night.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: - Everything was ok. Nothing exceptional, but the essentials are met. - Free parking before the facility. - Bar/restaurant/gas station next to the hotel. - (empty) fridge available in the room.
Cons: - Shower head's holder a bit defective. - Perhaps a bit expensive.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing. EVERY PERSON we encountered was always the best you could expect. From the moment we checked in the reception attendant took time to walk us to our room and show us the facilities. The location is great and the staff works very hard to keep things clean. They cleaned and changed the sheets daily and groomed the beach every evening. The morning breakfast was a terrific Sicilian Cornetto and caffè served at the central bar on the beachfront. The music was great and the Dj was on point, playing a great selection of stuff from classic to modern italian and even some 90s through current American stuff. The complex is huge and had plenty of walking area as well as ample parking. We brought our two small dogs and the staff was absolutely amazing with them. When we went to the bar they even brought them water. Speaking of the bar, the Spritz is amazing and they changed it up slightly every time to add a different garnish. AMAZING!!! The beach is great with clean sand and not a bunch of rocks like other parts of Sicily can be. The chairs and umbrellas were standard for Italian beaches, which is to say very comfortable and super easy from a user standpoint. The room itself had a large mini fridge which worked well as well as terrific air conditioning, a table, a couch, and an extra bed. The counter space and large sink in the kitchenette was very nice and there was even a table with chairs outside to sit on and watch the sunrise in the morning.
Cons: The other reviews about the airport being nearby are spot on. The planes are loud when they land and take off and did occasionally go after midnight. The bar on the property was loud but wasn't terrible because it closed at 11. After the covid restrictions lift and they are open lateri could see the noise being an issue with sleeping, especially in the ocean front bungalows. The hot water is a genuine danger and is set so hot you can hear it spurting in the pipes as it boils. Somehow it can go from uncomfortably cold to causing instant burns in less than a second. I know this sounds like exaggerating but it's not. Take great care with the hot water in the rooms!!! The huge glass window looking out on the ocean you see in the picture was covered almost completely by a giant printed sticker that seemed to be put up to keep the cracked glass from shattering. Instead of a huge picture window it was essentially two oversized portholes. There was a bulb missing from the bedside light and the light in the "kitchenette" area didn't work either. There is a small stove top that didn't work either. I know that sounds like a lot of negative but we still had a magical time.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Mr. Guna is a very nice person
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was directly on the beach. The staff was very friendly. There were enough outlets to charge things. Restaurant was good.
Cons: The bed was a bit old and having two frames pushed together isn't very comfortable sharing the bed. There seemed to be a water pump constantly running in my friends room. I didn't hear it in my room but could have been annoying for him.
Good 7.0
Pros: Perfect location for the airport and catania and right on a beautiful beach
Cons: The whole complex was very tired looking
Okay 5.0
Pros: it was cheap, beach was nice and quite,
Cons: needs make over... very dated, feel like it was built in the 80's
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, sea view, super comfy
