The only thing I noticed was the table beside the television had sticky food residue on it.

Cons (-) Outdated everything. No tv channel listing and most basic cable. Next time I’ll pay the extra $50 for a newer hotel
Pros (+) Very convenient location by shopping and not far from UVA.
Cons (-) Room had not been cleaned very well. Was hair in sink and tub and dirt on the floor. Room also needs updated. Bedspread had cigarette holes and furniture was worn and had stains below expectation for most Days Inns.

Pros (+) Manager was nice, professional, worked hard to accommodate me: I had booked through an online discount service and unknowingly booked a smoking room. The manager worked to find me a non-smoking room for both nights of my stay. Linens were clean, and so was the bathroom. Seemed safe and secure.
Cons (-) Unfortunately, the room had a stale smell, as if someone had been smoking in the room despite the non-smoking signs. Doors open to a balcony facing the parking lot.
Pros (+) Location and price are hard to beat. While the place was pretty beat up the carpets and linens were clean and new and everything looked clean. Staff was nice, helped me locate my wallet that I had left in about 5 minutes.
Cons (-) Showing a great deal of wear.
Pros (+) Friendly staff, convenient location, adequate for a night just passing through.
Cons (-) Sheets stained, massive construction directly next to it starting at 7am, obvious previous smoker in a non smoking room.
