The quirkiness of the room
Having to pay for breakfast on top of pricey room. We needed early breakfast so we could leave at 8am and this could not be accomadated. Earliest they could do was 8am - bit dissapointed about this as is was a birthday treat for my partner,
Lovely room with twin baths and very comfy bed. Staff very pleasant.
My dinner in the restaurant was the smallest main course I have ever been served . It was appalling, I would not have the nerve to send something out so small if I were a chef-not good value for money . At a guess, I would say they are using one fish to get 4-6 portions. I didn't want to make a fuss and complain on the night as it was our wedding anniversary! I do feel that for the price of the room that breakfast should be included. We realised that it was not but because we wanted to stay at that hotel we decided to book anyway.
The design, layout, quality and fixtures in the room and venue too.
The dim lighting within the whole venue. More light is needed espescially over mirrors (for ladies applying makeup).
both luxury of room and wonderful meal
a little expensive but not too bad
