We like the location, the large friendly lobby. Our window shade was out of the track and needed to be replaced. Our toilet was not clean. Our room keys didn’t work on the third night. The maintenance person came and replaced the batteries in the door at 10pm. Our nephew’s room was 60° for the four nights that we stayed. The thermostat wouldn’t adjust up or down.
Pros. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good.
Cons. For 8 out of the 10 times I entered or exited the front entrance during my stay, there were consistently ~6 people smoking 2 feet from the automatic entrance doors. The thick smoke from this entered the front lobby and permeated throughout the indoor lobby area and even in the elevators. I was forced to breathe this toxic air each time I left and returned to the hotel even while in the elevator going up/down. I complained to the front desk about this immediately upon checking in. The attendant promised to go out and tell these guests to stop smoking right next to the front entrance. Despite his promise, he didn't do anything. The smokers were still there 10 minutes later when I was leaving the hotel to go out for dinner. And, smokers were always there 8 out of the 10 times I entered/exited the hotel during my stay.
