Pros: Loved the fresh take on a hotel. The art was a fun experience, though I'd prefer some variety as it was all pop art. The decor was modern but still warm and fun. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Several great upscale bars and restaurants steps away.
Cons: The location left something to be desired if you want anything beyond great evening eateries or the theatre. No breakfast places around or any shopping minus Tiffanys or Macy's. It felt odd that difference sides of the sand city block can vary between lux and sketchy.

Cons: At 10 at night the lobby was loud and filled with smokey-smelling, loitering, loud people that had just come from Cincy Beerfest. I had reserved (a month in advance) AND confirmed (the day before) a king room with my wife on the night before valentines day, but they said they "only have doubles left", so obviously reservations mean nothing to them. After that major disappointment (especially for the high rate) we found the beds didn't even have fitted sheets, and the duvets used two sheets rather than covers, so both them and the mattresses were exposed. The beds were hard as rocks, luke warm water is the best you'll get, and we couldn't get out there fast enough. I'm sure they treat you right if you're a member, but I would never want to go there enough to become one. Never using Hyatt again. There are better downtown Cincy alternatives.

Cons: When we arrived we were informed that they only had a room with 2 twin gets even though I goofed this room two months I advance. I also completed an early check in on line further requesting a queen bed and a roll away. We arrived and not only got stuck with twin beds but no rollaway, our keys were notable to be made and we would have to move to another roomwith 2 twin beds on our third night bebecause the room we were in was booked for someone else. When we were escorted by a silent hotel employee to the room as we had no keys we arrived to a room with no toilet paper and a broken phone. Over priced

Cons: My room was very basic and plain and nothing to be excited about and just not what I think I’m getting when I’m staying at “The Westin”. I intentionally got a deluxe room and there really wasn’t anything deluxe about it. The net net of it is the Westin, with all of its glory is really when it comes to the rooms pretty basic.

Pros: I liked the fact that it was downtown. No breakfast, No wi-if, no parking, AC was turned down to 66 in the room and it was still warm. Pool closed at 10PM... Paids $230 for one night for something that shouldn't have cost over $100 a night. All in all it was just VERY overpriced for what you get.

Water collected on the door edge and soaked the floor. The air temperature was hard to control with the thermostat. The light switches were confusing. I am all for saving water by not washing towels but how about a place to hang the towels, that would be helpful.

Cons: We were initially given the wrong room. We had requested a queen but got a double. When staff was alerted, they were able to move us to a new room but blamed other members of the staff for the error rather than apologizing. Our new room smelled odd and moldy. It was extremely humid in the room. Parking was also not obvious. There is a large parking garage right next to the hotel so we thought this was the appropriate place to park. Luckily we asked when we checked in if it was ok to park there and were told that no, we were only able to valet park our car. We were told if we left our car on the garage it would likely get towed. There was no information to indicate this on check in or signage to indicate the garage was not for our use. Luckily we asked otherwise our car would have been towed. Lastly, there was a shuttle service to be used by wedding guests. The shuttle broke down so we were unable to use this for transport. We were told they hotel staff was ordering cabs, but after waiting 20 mins with no sign of cabs, we ended up ordering our own and paying for the transport.

Cons: We were traveling as a group of couples. We were told that their lounge/bar would be open until Midnight on Saturday. At 10:15 they were already "shut down". When we approached the staff about it, the bar tender was rude & the other staff offered suggestions of other bars outside of the hotel. We wanted a night cap in our hotel, which we were unable to get. They need to get their services/staffing issues worked out - or don't include all amenities at this time.

Cons: Room smelled when we arrived. No slippers, missing robe, tub was dirty and there were no remotes. The air didn't work very well at first. Ordered room service and it was cold and disgusting. $60 worth of food that wasn't even eaten. The price of the hotel room was overrated. The bar downstairs said it was closing at 1am. We came back from our show early to grab a drink before heading up to our room and the bar was closed at 12:30am. Unhappy customer and will go to the Westin from now on.

Cons: The current renovation has this hotel feeling very closed off and providing nothing in the way of ambiance for the cost and supposed quality of the hotel. Although it may be necessary and some warning was given, this did not feel like a high end hotel and price/value definitely did not reflect in the current downgrade of quality. When done I’m sure it will return to it rating, but I wouldn’t touch this place until then.

Pros: I took a Greyhound from Detroit, and when I booked those tickets, Kayak sent me to a deal (although they took a cut.) So, a room that normally cost about 150 was 77 on the site. After “fees and tax” that went up to about 101.50. In any case, I had a nice stay in a nice room downtown within walking distance of anything I needed or wanted. At one point, the room was cold and I didn’t think the thermostat was working correctly. They couldn’t get anyone to look at it, so I got to sleep in another room. So, at one point I had 2 rooms because I didn’t have to move my things out of the cold room. Also, I ordered a chicken wrap off the late night menu but didn’t know it had onions on it. I had to order a salad instead and they didn’t charge me. Very accommodating service. Also enjoyed the smart TV so I could watch my own Netflix account. Food was pretty good.
Cons: Construction. But they did their best to work with me. And of course things were a little pricey. No vending machines, so a can of coke cost 3.75. The sticker shock for breakfast: since the order card didn’t have prices, I thought that the list of items I checked were a part of a package deal. I ended up paying 76 for breakfast! I wish I had known. Seems a little underhanded. To charge that much for food and drink, at least let the guest know! I could have stocked up at the CVS down the street, but alas, there was no refrigerator.

Cons: Very minor things, but our bathroom TV remote battery was dead. Also a notice before arriving at the hotel that the water pump system was going to be being worked on & we would have no water from midnight until around 6 a.m would have been appreciated.

Pros: The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati and there was plenty of entertainment and restaurants located nearby. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel ultimately served its purpose as a place to sleep for the night.
Cons: The furniture was a bit dated and the layout of the room lacked any real appeal. The pictures online and the four star rating seemed to be a bit exagerated. I would rate the hotel three stars overall.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful and comfortable and the location terrific. Very centralized location--easy to walk to area sites and restaurants.

Cons: The Hampton Inn was a really nice hotel but it wasn't the hotel I reserved. I was looking forward to stay in The Cincinnatian because of the historic background and wasn't expecting at all not to be nofied in advance about their problem with hot water. We could have rescheduled our trip. They relocated us and it was a nice place (can't complain about it) but a modern hotel was not what we wanted.

Pros: The Location is prime. Perfect for downtown Cincinnati. The staff was nice and quick about check-in and check-out. The bathroom was awesome. It was big and remodeled with a giant tub.
Cons: The bedroom itself was not impressive. I expected a historic feel, but just got more of an old and musty feel instead. The comforter wasn't clean (had to brush it off before we could lay on it), and the room itself just didn't seem clean. There was also a sunlight which would have been fine, but when you looked up it was covered in dust and dirt.

Pros: The gentleman who check me in was very friendly.
Cons: This place was so dirty, I didn't stay, left to find another hotel because it was disgusting. There were cigarette holes in the comforter. In the bathroom the towels were had stains and hair on them. The lid to the back of the toilet was part way off and dirty.

Pros: when we arrived there were around of 6 people hanging on the entrance of the parking lot drinking beer, already intoxicated and talking too loud. Also when we got to the 5th floor everything was stinky and carpets with holes (big ones) desk staff said they are cleaning rooms, as soon as we entered to our room, went to check the restroom and someone didn't even flushed the toilet (I don't need to tell more) called front desk and got a new room, on the same floor just other room. 513, this time after all day on road and doing some errands we arrive to rest, (well we couldn't) couple next door 515 got in a heat argument and beside the screams and high volume on TV and slamming doors that lasted from 2:00 am until 5:00 am front desk never answered ( I called no less than 5 times) and I didn't want to take the risk to get out down stairs. When it was time to check out, the same drunk people was hanging on the lobby and parking lot. The person from front desk just said that there is always someone on the lobby to take the phone calls or people, he ignored my complaint about the next door problem. No apologies or even try to understand anything. The worst experience ever in my life in a hotel.
Cons: New staff would be great and customer service courses for people that will be stay. Get rid of drunk people in your building and parking lot and cleaning and new carpet or floor would be a plus.

Cons: The place is dirty. A pile of dirty mattresses sitting in the parking garage is a bad, bad look. The stack was about ten feet high and consisted of about 40 mattresses. I'm very concerned they were piled there due to a recent bed bug problem. Everything in the hotel is either very old or very dirty. The carpet in the room and the walls had odd looking stains. The building is being renovated, but there is far too much that needs fixed at this hotel before I would consider staying there again.

Pros: For the price and location it was great. We were able to book the night before and get the room during fourth of July weekend.
Cons: There is a bus stop and a busy road right out front. The street noise was very loud and there were many arguments outside at the bus stop.
