Pros:I can't rate any of the interior facilities as I had my room refunded after the assault that occured as I checked in. The location was on an avenue full of other hotels, convenient to the city.
Cons:Other comments are right: there's an armed security guard. That alerted me before we booked the room, but I figured nothing too crazy could happen during our one-night stay. Boy, was I wrong. As soon as we parked to check in, the security guard exited the office and smiled politely at us as he walked away to do his rounds. I was taken aback by his bulletproof vest (I mean, what provoked them to suit their guard up to that extreme?) but shrugged it off as extra precaution. No more than five minutes passed before two men whipped around the corner to park, proceeding to enter the office, yelling. They were met by the security guard who was on his way back for the altercation and I sat in utter horror as the taller man (at least 6'5") started beating him. Both men had the armed security guard down on the ground, punching and kicking his body and face while I anticipated shots to ring out at any moment. I had never been exposed to this level of violence in my entire life and feel lucky to have made it out of the situation alive. Find another hotel. Stay away from that whole strip in Worthington. You are raising the percentages of becoming a victim of crime if you stay here.
