Breakfast was good. Room was very comfortable.
Did not like the fact that both the bar and the restaurant were closed on the Sunday. We arrived hot and tired but were unable to get any refreshment.

Convenient location when you travel by car. Very clean room as always at NH hotels. Friendly staff. Good value for the price. Slightly distanced from major spots in Cuenca (more than a half hour walk)

The NH Ciudad de Cuenca hotel is set within a quiet residential area of San Fernando, just opposite a lovely green park. Within 15 minutes on foot you can reach the commercial center and the old part of the city, which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk a little further and you will reach the Auditorio de Cuenca conference center and the old town’s Puente de San Pablo. The Fernando Zóbel train station is 8km away. NH Ciudad de Cuenca has 74 modern rooms finished with warm and comfortable décor. You may choose to stay in one of our connecting rooms which are perfect for families and large groups. Accessible rooms are also available. A delicious breakfast is served every morning and includes a large spread of fresh foods and beverages. The hotel restaurant is a cozy space filled with natural light where you can order one of our Mediterranean dishes made with fresh seasonal products. “Great hotel in a central location. Very helpful and efficient staff and a fantastic breakfast with an excellent waitress serving the assisted buffet. The room was clean, great lighting and everything worked perfectly. Also a mini fridge in the room.”
“The room was quiet and spacious and the bathroom quite large and well equipped.The hotel has a superb position and only 10 minutes walk into the centre but if you don't have breakfast included then the tapas and sandwich bar at the rear, Thaiss, is superb for breakfast , lunch and dinner. We used it but beware, the portions are massive. Very cheap but great atmosphere and service.”

Good bathroom/shower size with blow-dryer and amenities. Reception staff was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Check in process was a breeze :)”
