Overview

AND In the ancient cultures of Mesoamerica, the five petals of the Flor de Mayo represent the five senses. Continuing the tradition, Flor de Mayo Hotel Restaurant & Spa offers a wide variety of sensory delights amidst Cuernavaca's natural beauty, beginning with the hotel's namesake tree, which blooms in the central courtyard. A line of floral ceramic speakers awakens guests' sense of hearing, while locally produced organic shower products stimulate the sense of smell. At the restaurant, seasonal cuisine fuses Mexican and Asian influences, with local fruits, vegetables, and flowers to delight the palate. The sense of touch is stimulated by a relaxing day at the spa, where treatments utilize local flowers and soil to create a unique experience. Afterward, retreat to one of 24 guestrooms, where 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets await for the perfect ending to a day in the City of Eternal Spring.
